TSS Halloween Hatch 2008 Log

  Welcome all! Mwahahahaha! 

Guys and ghouls who participate in the Halloween Hatch will be logging here to share their progress, thoughts and concerns.

Keep note since this hatch is 2 nights instead of 1, you can either hatch both times or hatch one of the nights and log later once the hatching is all done. Up to you when you wanna get started with that. Personally I will be logging both things I'm hatching once my second hatch on the 31st is complete.

I'll admit, it was very less crowded in the chatroom this time around. I wasn't going to let that bum me out though. I had virtual pets to bring into this world and I was going to enjoy it be it solo or otherwise. First night on the 30th I untabbed a V4 I haven't played with yet (picture below on the left in it) and unpaused an awaiting counterpart of similar design theme (picture below on the right this time in it). I named the one on pause Leon after the main character I watched in a Resident Evil 4 walkthrough. I was hoping the new V4 I haven't used yet would be a girl so I could name her after Lemar, the headcrab in half life...but I got a boy instead so I named him Henry after watching a Silent Hill 4 walkthrough on youtube.



So I got two boy V4's known as Leon and Henry. It's not a complete loss. With Kitti and Flora currently on my green V4 and purple V4, I could have double batch of awesome mating! I will just have to pause the older ladies so the guys can catch up. I'll cross that bridge when we get there.





So these boys were pretty well behaved like the girls have been starting V4's up again. Not much to them. After about an hour they changed into toddlers, and I didn't get a good look at either male until the next morning because they changed when I was in the other room for a moment. I found out the next morning that Leon became a mohitamatchi toddler and Henry became another puchitchi. I don't usually get them as often in toddlers so I find this to be very cool





So far the males have been doing well. I neglected them a little bit this afternoon at work because it got busy and stuff so they called out twice, once for food and once for play and/or attention. Luckily no sickness was involved so I didn't do that bad in neglect My guess will be they will be teens tomorrow morning at some point. That's my guess anyway.

Tonight at the second night of halloweeny hatching, I did the same thing basically, but with V2's so one was untabbed and the other unpaused...and again I was hoping for opposite partner by chance and got another girl. The paused baby girl on my black V2 you know as Marii, Mac the mametchi's daughter. Her pink V2 counterpart will be known as Mara shown pictures below. Mara's the first pic below and Marii's the second.





They were both pretty decent to care for but I neglected them a little in the last several minutes of the first hour of life because I went to watch television. When I came back there was poop outside their beds and they were asleep as toddlers so I didn't get good pictures of them. Mara is a hidodetchi aka the starfish as I call her lol, and Marii is kuribotchi aka the acorn Don't worry I set the clocks back to awake hours quickly to clean poop and feed them and have all full hearts before putting them back to sleep with the correct time.

Overall a great hatch even though noone showed up in the chat really to participate, which again sucked but as I said it's not gonna get me down. Stuff happens. Just gotta try again better next hatch Happy hatching to all and Happy Halloween. Further logging of my halloween bunch and such will be in my November 2008 virtual pet logs and on TSS, so keep your eyes out. Chow!

I'm sorry I couldn't attend either chat event these past nights, but I did manage to hatch my White with Candies Tamagotchi Connection Version 2 on the 31st. I put the battery in at home, and quickly stuffed the egg into my purse as I ran out the door to attend a party. As I was running there (had to get there earlier than someone in a car) the egg hatched. When I got to the house a couple minutes later, the gender screen had already passed to the Name screen, so I decided to name whatever it was Spook, and Spook turned out to be a baby boy!
The party was a lot busier than I expected it to be so I paused Spook out of fear of neglecting him. Unfortunately he ended up paused until today, November 2nd, as I didn't think my sleepover party would last so long into yesterday. x3 Not that I regret it, the whole three days (Oct30-Nov1) were fun.
So now Spook is a Puchitchi of 0 years and 8 pounds. Had I had the time, I was going to cut out some brown construction paper into the shape of dog ears and tail and tape them to the egg as a Scooby-Doo costume (I dressed as Daphne from the same series this year). I think I might do this anyway. I also plan to collect both costume items and have Spook wear them in his adulthood.

Halloween has come and gone and I thought it's an awesome day for a log update (for catching up on my August-October logs, check the archives). I'll start off with my hatched halloween bunch of V4's and V2's before getting on with news on Flora and Kitti the V4's. First Leon and Henry yesterday became teenagers and Leon became a hinotamatchi (first picture below) while henry became a gurumetchi (second picture below), which are both teenagers possible to becoming the same adults if I allow them too...which I'm not doing.





Leon seems to excel more in getting intelligence points than Henry who prefers to get fashion points so that's what I'm going to stick to this time around. The dance game to get more fashion points is a pain in the ass so I'll mostly just be using "work" on the connections icon to get the points needed for Henry, whereas for Leon I'm really good at the shape game My V2's currently known as Mara and Marii have been doing really well. As promised from my last log in October, here's pictures of them below of them when they were toddlers. First picture is Mara who is a hitodetchi and Marii in the second picture below is the kuribotchi.





They changed into teenagers this morning and I was quite happy with the results of my caretaking. Mara first picture below this text again is a ringotchi and Marii second picture below is a young mimitchi.





Now who becomes what is more up in the air with V2's than V4's since it all depends on the caretaking and such. I'll see what comes out of all this soon I think.

Today Spook evolved into a Young Mametchi while I was waiting for my second period to start. Snuck in quite a few games of Jump during various classes and breaks, but of course I had to without sound so I got mediocre results at best. =/

Just now he called out for unneeded attention, bring him to 6 training bars.

Leon and Henry turned out to be awesome sauce adults lol. First below pictures are of Leon first. He must of followed in his dad's footsteps (Crimson the debatchi's in fact) and stuck with intelligence points all around. He became a Tosakatchi as you can see.





Henry on the other hand decided fashion points was his calling and he became a togetchi.





They both got jobs last evening with my other V4's. Leon's a doctor just like his father before him, and Henry is a singer. Anyway according to my plan, with the help of some love potion, Leon the tosakatchi was going to mate with Flora the mimitchi and Henry the togetchi was going to mate with Kitti the marotchi. Once everyone had gotten jobs and such before 6pm last night, I attempted the mating (also note here that I gave them love potions yesterday so they'd be loving their mates ahead of time before mating because that's just how I roll lol!).

Both couples had their offspring and funny enough all the offspring was female! IT'S VAGINAFEST 2008 PEOPLE! GIRLY GIRLY EVERYWHERE AHHH! lmao! Seriously though, a huge WTF at that kind of luck lol. Despite this odd turn of events, I was quite pleased, but at the same time I was running out of female names to use! Aw well Anyway all couples with children are doing fine and I have names picked out for each girl. Leon's two daughters will be called Leann and Lemar, and Henry's two daughters will be known as Tabbi and Gabbi. Since they're next generation from this hatch, expect to see them logged on my website and not here

I'm expecting around 6pm tonight I can get the parents to leave their kids in my hands so I can name them early. No, I didn't take pictures of all the parents with their children, didn't see any point to since there's a good chance they'll be leaving later this evening anyway.

Anyway enough about mating and vaginafests LOL! My v2's you know as Mara and Marii turned into adults this morning FINALLY! I was quite surprised by the results too! First picture below is of Mara and she became a pyonchitchi. Second picture below is of Marii who became a butterflytchi.





I haven't had either adult character on V2's very often so it was really cool to see them again, especially butterflytchi. Anyway both Mara and Marii are doing well. Soon it'll be a sea of females in my virtual pet crew, both babies AND adults. It's bloody crazy lol. Anyway that's what's been going on here on my end last few days.

You probably won't be seeing much of Leon and Henry after this unless they do stay after 6pm tonight (planning on changing the times so the parents will leave), but Mara and Marii's plans for the matchmaker will be coming up in a few days so I imagine you'll be seeing more of them

Spook was a good kid for the most part (forgot to tell him to be quiet once and nearly had a heart attack from fear of him calling for me during the playing of O Canada that morning) but he ended up a Tarakotchi from my care. =( He came home rather mad as I hadn't fed him all day - forgot about him being there and couldn't really check during those classes.

Did play Slots while I was supposed to be studying though.

Hello!

I realise I'm posting this well late, but, I do have a little hatchling to add the Halloween blog.

I'm in the middle of my final exam period, so I haven't had much time for good ol' fashioned foruming. But, taking a few hours off tonight, catching up. Shall be all done on the 27th, then the degree is finished.



Some might remember that Kusatchi is my favourite character, so I'm kind of hoping for him. ^___^ I love that little so very much! It will be wonderful to have him again.

Shall post his final transformation, he should be changing either tomorrow or next day. : )

Oh man I love your P2 design It's definitely one of my favourites Jen!

I'll add pictures to this later when I'm back from work, but here's what's been happening with the remaining halloween hatch crew you know as Marii the v2 butterflytchi and Mara the v2 pyonchitchi.

They saw the matchmaker this morning and they both had baby girls (omg! more girls >_> my luck is just all over weird lately with these guys!). I'm thinking I might have to do matchmaker visits if girls keep happening at 10:30am We'll have to see.

No names as of yet for either child.

My Halloween P2 changed a few days ago: into Takotchi! This was quite a surprise, I was hoping for Kusatchi, but this little fellow wanted to come join in the fun. ^.^



I'm not too sure of what to hatch come to beginning of my Uni break, I'm thinking I may keep my P2 going, start up a few Connexions, and get my hands on the new Celebrity Tama that is out at K-Mart. I almost picked up one day but then thought I best wait till after I get through these two weeks on low budget. =P Then I can treat myself to getting one.

Takotchi and I are off to do some serious cramming. Leaving it too late, as always heheh.
