Hello everyone!

Just wanted to tell you that the pedometer Bandai promised in their press release earlier this year is now available!

It's called the Tamawalkie, and here's a picture of my purchase below.


Three characters are available for this one: Mametchi, Kuchipatchi and Memetchi.

Uh, I knew that...<_<' LOL sorry I guess I didn't read carefully enough. But I kinda figured it was a pedometer anyway(I don't see how a walkie talkie and a Tama could be fused). I want one too! I LOOVVVE pedometer pets. <3

Just posting to reiterate:

I wannnnttt itttt

but not one of the stores claim to have even heard of it.
Then again Wal*Mart and Zellers' websites both claim the only Tamagotchi product in existence is the new board game so I don't know.
(TRU is only a last resort because the prices are too too high D:<)

Anyone seen these around yet?

No, I emailed bandai about four days ago about it but they never replyed. Why do they have to keep all their info to them selves?  Sad

No idea but they obviously are holding back on the public relations on this product for a specific reason.

I'll probably look on ebay at some point.

Pedometer Tamagotchi? This is what I've been waiting for long time!

The backside of Tamaphilippines' copy gives hints that it's USA release. Is it USA import?

I hope Tamawalkie will soon be released in Europe. V5.5 hasn't yet landed in here either, so logically Walkie isn't going to appear here for the Holidays season sales...

Only Mame, Meme and Kuchi? Pfff, me wants more characters. Afterwards they are definetly going to release "Tamawalkie 2.0" with more characters x__o (moneycow milks, moo)

I agree on that too. I get those characters are their popular ones...but really why not bring back others you can "unlock" from certain amounts of steps or something?
