Further Details on Event

Well after lots of feedback on this topic, and looking back at past suggestions, this upcoming hatch will obviosuly be halloween themed with ghosts, goblins and virtual pets alike! For this hatch if you got any virtual pets that are orange, yellow or black or all three would be an awesome idea to activate. If you don't have any in those colours, you could always customize your selected virtual pet with stickers of pumpkins, witches and other halloween themed things Whatever would work best for you! Any halloween themed thing or action you bring with your virtual pet is encouraged and welcome for this double hatch event.

Bonus kudos if you Hatch: Devilgotchi, Angelgotchi (english or japanese), A uratama using the first dating service card to get the halloween adult there, or a customized virtual pet of your choice that you added to (painted, used sticks, changed the way it looks basically since it can count as a halloween costume of sorts on your chosen virtual pet).


FAQ Regarding this Chat Event

Does it matter that much what you hatch? Nope! You're allowed to hatch and get whatever character you wish to aim for on any virtual pet your heart desires. It's just more fun and interesting to put in some extra pats on the back if you get certain characters and get some halloween mating action going on.

Do I need to restart or reset any of my virtual pets? It's not needed if you don't want to. If you have babies on pause on a tamagotchi, just unpause it when hatch time comes. If you have parents leaving the children that night, set the time to before midnight so they'll leave you a baby. If you do wish to reset or start over on a virtual pet, it's completely optional. I know some people here wouldn't want to mess around with their generation numbers too much. I can understand that.

Does it matter if I hatch or not? Nope! If you just want to come in and chat with others in the room during the event, that's okay too. I aimed for these two dates eastern time because it was a tough call for which date suited everyone, so this was the best compromise that could be done. At least if you miss one, you can go to the one following it. You can even go to both for all I care LOL! It's entirely up to you.

Can I bring a friend? Sure! All friends of Tamagotchi Social Sphere members are more than welcome to join us in chatting and even hatching if they choose to. Please keep in mind though that they are not exempt from the rules TSS has set out for rules in chat and the forums, so I suggest letting them know ahead of time what is and isn't allowed to be done/said in the chatroom so to prevent any chatroom drama or other issues. We want the chat to be friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

What if I can hatch, but can not attend the chat event? No problem! After the double chat event, the Halloween Hatch log will be placed for everyone who hatched in the event to post their progress. I'll probably put it up on the first night hours before the hatch is supposed to start so it's place with less hassle.

What if I can't attend or hatch? No problem! We'll just have to try again next hatch now won't we lol.

I'm having trouble getting into the chatroom before the hatch date. What do I do?
If you are using mIRC to get into the chatroom, currently (if this information changes Kat, let me know and I'll change the connecting information) you connect using irc.everywherechat.com by typing into mIRC "/server irc.everywherechat.com" and if your username is registered you might have to put in your password. After it shows you're connected, type in "/join #Tamagotchi" and you should be in the room by then.

If you are connecting through the forum's link on the left hand side for Tamagotchi Live Chat, make sure all flash and java on your computer is up to date for the chat to work properly. Suggestion would be to make sure one or both methods work before the hatch to cut any stress from the day in question. Any problems or help required, Let me or Kat know privately and we'll try to help you out!

What if we'd like to enter the hatch, can take a fuzzy picture on our camera phone, but don't actually have a decent camera that can get the details of the creature we're raising? (Unless mom surprises me by getting a new camera and lets me have the old one...something I've been 'hinting' at since I know she wants a nicer camera herself. )

Also, I think Digimon might be nice for Halloween too if some hatchers wanted to use those. I, personally, will want to use this as the perfect excuse to hatch my Devilgotch. 

I'm also apologizing ahead of time if I'm not suppost to reply to this post. ^^;;

I skimmed over it as I normally do as I'm in the middle of work and I'm answering calls as well as posting on the forum. I really don't mean to make you repeat yourself but I didn't really read it word for word and I know alot of hatches people are pretty specific as what is acceptable. I know alot of past hatches on other forums require you to at least take a picture at startup.

Yeah the atmosphere and whole overall feel of each hatch I believe should be relaxed and easy going without too many restrictions. Only restrictions I can even see for this hatch are any rules applied by the forum itself. Other than that you hatch whatever you wish

My suggestion for those who can't take pictures or don't want to is be as descriptive in your logs as much as possible so then new people who read the chat event logs (or any log here really) can understand what you're writing about, why you're writing about it, and what you're witnessing.  It's up to you to take this and use, but if you do then hopefully that helps with your writing overall

32 days and counting until Hatch #1 of the Halloween Hatch is among us Anyone got an idea what they're thinking of hatching this coming event?

The verdict is still out for me, but I'm leaning towards my orange and black P2 and maybe something else. Always looking for ideas

  The hatches on this forum are so fun and well organized, I'd love to join this hatch. I can't decide on what to hatch though, I'm planning on getting a celebrity v.5 and if I do I might hatch that. I haven't modded a tamagotchi for awhile and I've seen some v.5's at many stores just waiting for me to repaint them

I might not of brought it up specificially but you can hatch as many as you want and customize how many you wish lol. Be it one day hatch or 2 day hatch that's not gonna change lol.
