This is where we log our hatches from the chatroom hatch! Thanks to all who did participate this time around and can't wait to read some of your responses!

It was a good opportunity to get back up to running 6 virtual pets again and this hatch tonight was perfect for it! I hatched a new P2 (and put my yellow one away), my green P1 again from scratch and a yuki penguin. Let's start with my P2 and P1. Below are pictures of my pink and white P2 in it's egg and in baby form on my screen, then it's P1 infant counterpart along with it.







I'm naming my pinkish P2 Rosa after the white mage in Final Fantasy 4, and naming my green P1 this time around Cecil after the dark knight and/or paladin in Final Fantasy 4 (The remake for the DS is amazing). They have been rather quiet and well behaved...probably because I'm checking on them every 10 minutes or something like that. They finished their half hour mark nap of 5 minutes and continued to be well behaved. They will be becoming tonmarutchi and marutchi soon then immediately going off to bed I'll show pictures next log of them as toddlers when it's moreso daytime.

Now as mentioned I hatch my yuki penguin in this Oldschool hatch at TSS. Thanks again to Alexa for giving me the idea. I got to record it's birthing of sorts on my webcam so here's the shot of me setting the time.

Please note that I had to make the time AM instead of PM first because if I did it the normal time it would of went to sleep on me with empty stomach, smile or discipline in reading with much bother later to correct so I figured let's care for it now then put it to bed Anyway once it was born you can see how similar it is to a dinkie dino, but at the same time it's got several differences.



Main one you can see right now is how the baby looks. Still a blob but has more black on it. Some of the menu is different this time around too. And you have to keep the temperature around 15 and not 25 celcius like the dino. Other than that it's also a fun pet to play with and definitely one of my favourites in the non-bandai pet kingdom out there.



So after playing with it and getting all of it's meters full, I adjusted the time to PM and not AM and it went to bed immediately as you can see by the picture above. I'm really hoping I have a lot better luck with this virtual pet than I did with it during college. I was bad with neglecting it during that time. I should be a lot better now though Wish me luck on this time around!

Was good to see you guys in the hatching.

I didn't end up finding those batteries I bought (were expensive too, couldn't find the cheaper brand so I forked out $5.40 for each battery!). But they're here somewhere, so when I find them I can have them for my P2. So, instead I hatched my Mesu/Osu set, of which I haven't played with in a while.

Here's a pic! Note they are mismatched, as I mentioned in the chat, Jason had them on sale cheap on eBay... it cought my eye, the idea of a mismatched pair seemed very romantic. =P



They are both MohiTamatchi at the moment, quietly bobbing about next to me as I write this. ^___^

After the hatching I went up to my University's open day, act like first years and get some cool entertainment and free give-aways. I mainly went so I can speak to my head of course director who gave me a lot of information about post-grad study, which I hope to start next year.

Anyway, one of the stands there was a Japanese calligraphy and origami display, and my friend Morgaine was volunteering. She offered to write something in Japanese, and my first thought was, of course, Tamagotchi! This is what she made for me.



So, yeah, was a fun filled day today, but now... I think a nap is in order. Look forward to reading everyones progress, and shall update my own as it comes. ^___^

TL, that P2 of yours looks awesome and your penguin is too cute!
And Bojko, those mismatched Osu/Mesu actually match pretty well! XD

I was supposed to hatch either a Tamagotchi G1 or a GigaPet Compu Kitty Precious Barbie version. As some of you know I hatched both since I couldn't make up my mind! XD

My kitty got the most awesome name on earth: Cheeseburger! It rocks, doesn't it?!
Frankly I named her that mainly because I've been reading too much "Lolcat" lately. Link: Click.
See, lolcats are obsessed with cheeseburgers so the name fits in perfectly.


CHEESEBURGER!

She was pretty darn demanding the first hour of her life... and then she just fell asleep at 4AM, thanks heavens.
The prima-donna woke me up at 7:30 Am though... 'cause she was hungry. *sweat drop*
She's been nothing but a pure diva this entire morning. If her "happy" meter fall down to 50, or below
she'll just beep and beep! I don't recall a normal compu kitty being this demanding.

Nevertheless, she's my little lolcat and lives up to the name. 
(The "shell" color is disgustingly fugly, indeed. I'll repaint it someday. ><)

As what of become of my Tamagotchi. I didn't give him any name, since I couldn't think of another epic one.

Carewise he's pretty laid back just like every other P1/G1 toddlers are.
I'm neglecting him some so he could actually turn into the unhealthy kid.

It's obvious whom I'm aimin' for, isn't it? =P
Why, Kuchipatchi of course! I WILL have him this time... I must!


Taking a sunbath... rocks!

Seraphim, that is the manliest Giga Pet I've ever seen.

I'll have to go across the house to pick up my not-web camera, so I can take some photos of my babies over here.
I just fed snacks to my Babitchi, no matter how well I did on the game I couldn't get his happiness to stay high enough. He finally evolved into a Marutchi around 10 PM and promptly when to sleep, it was late.
This morning Baby Byte woke me up at 8:30 AM complaining that she hadn't had breakfast yet. I fed her and she was still happy and loved me. We played a couple games of Rock-Paper-Scissors and she won enough times to raise her IQ to 107 (she starts at 100). Today she is wearing a lovely jacket and combed her hair back (or maybe she.. cut it..? o_o).

Had a lot of fun on the chat, guys. <3

This hatch is probably the best I ever hosted yet Thank you all for attending and I love your choices The manly giga pet Seraphim holds made me laugh out loud XD!! You know you're totally comfortable with your sexuality when you can be a man holding a barbie giga pet, no joke there!

Haha anyway here's my guys this morning. Rosa my P2 and Cecil my P1 turned into toddlers around 10 last night like Priestess's and then immediately went to bed. I got up at 9 this morning to find them happily sitting with my mom as she was checking something on the computer. They were very quiet.





They just went off a few minutes ago actually for no reason so I disciplined them both at the same time Looks like they were made for each other lol. One thing I didn't notice last night was I guess the batteries that were sitting in them both for a while obviously were not at 100% power because the pixels look a tad faded on them both when not looking at them on an angle. This is just a minor gripe and I'm pretty sure the batteries will last long enough to get them to adulthood.

Anyway my yuki penguin is still good He actually grew again when he woke up this morning which I was surprised about since usually it needs more time in it's baby form. 



He's still a cutie in this bigger blob penguin like form Thanks all for the compliments on my hatch choices! *high fives*

Cheeseburger's lookin' good, Seraphim!  

I named my Compu Kitty "Brian".  Brian crawled out of his basket at 2.10am this morning, a skinny little rake until I had fed his belly several times over and he turned into this guy:



I hadn't started up a Kitty for years.  When he started bawling for attention I couldn't figure out what he wanted.  Was he sick?  I took him to the vet.  He didn't like that.  Kept on bawling.  Discipline?  I disciplined him.  Still bawling.  I finally figured out he wanted to go to sleep.  Well, why didn't he SAY so, instead of just looking at me with that mopey face?!?  I settled him down and he was happy, giving it big ZZZZZZZs.

He woke up early this morning with his health meter in the 70s and no problems.  I decided to take some photos of him.  I used the flash by mistake - bad idea.  Brian reset himself.  Aarrrghhhh!  Wut?!  Word of warning:  GigaPets do not like flash cameras going off in their faces.  I re-hatched/unbasketed Brian the 2nd straightaway.  He was soon back to where Brian the 1st had been, for health and happiness.







Cute lil' thang.  

Brian now weighs 7lb, his happiness is 100, health 73, skill 77, hunger 81, overall score 82.  He's very well-behaved.
