Well the old LPS VPs honestly weren't VPs so much as adventure games but these look different. Look here, for example. Any-one seen these in stores, or by any chance, own one yet? I was just informed of their existence by the Sears Holiday Wish Book... which came in August. Huh.

Methinks they took a cue from Tamagotchi's design this time.

Yeah, I've been seeing those "Care-For-Me" pets for a two or three months now, and when I first found out about I thought I might try one but never got around to it. My little sister has one of the original ones(adventure games, etc.), I played it and it was confusing. Once I got it (mostly) figured out, it was pretty boring... So, yeah, they're probably trying to make money of Tamagotchi's design(even though it won't be as good  )

If they're anything like the adventure ones I probably won't buy one The wal-mart that I buy tamagotchis from filled up all of the tama shelves with these 'care-for-me' pets which I have not seen anyone buy
