I was working at the Toronto Toy & Doll Show today, and when my boss gave me some free time, I looked all over for vpets of any kind. I couldn't find any at all! Most of the vendors were selling antiques and things like that. But at the end of the day, when we were packing up everything, I happened to glance at the booth behind me and saw a dusty plastic package: a Pikachu Pedometer! I bought it for just $15.

So here I have it, out of the package (so I could read the instructions). It's not the yellow one that I sometimes see on eBay; it's silver with sparkles! Kind of classy. Smiley The package says that it's "Pikachu 2: All-New Full Colour Animations!" I'm going to activate it tomorrow. I'm sooooo excited!

I actually had one of those, the silver one. It was my pikachu that survived the wash lol. I have no clue where it is though. I'm hoping to run into one someday on ebay. It was fun to have Smiley Congrats

I'll see what I can do about getting you guys pictures... I don't have a digital camera (except on my phone, and it's a really bad camera), but I'll try to convince my boyfriend to borrow his for something he thinks is so frivolous.  Smiley

Yeah, I work in a comic/toy shop, and whenever a convention comes to town we set up a booth there. This is the second convention I've gone to as a vendor. It's a looooooong day with lots of hard work (lifting boxes and such). I was working from 7:30 AM until 8:00 PM yesterday! But I get to be surrounded by toys and collectibles and buy a Pikachu, so it's totally worth it! (I also rather enjoy the hard work. Being a student, I sit on my bum way too much, it's good to work my muscles!)

I have a quiz today that I haven't finished studying for, so I haven't activated my Pikachu just yet. I hope to do so when I get back from class.

It's Pocket Pikachu Color aka. Pocket Pikachu 2, released around the time Pokémon Gold & Silver was released for GameBoy Color.

Has really good step-counter feature that doesn't fail as much as some cheap "Power Walker 2000" style pedometres you can buy from Wal-Mart with 5$ Tongue
Also if you have GBC and Pokémon Gold. Silver or Crystal, you can collect "volts" in minigames in your Pocket Pikachu Color and send them into your GameBoy Pokémon games through IR link (GBC has IR feature) and they transform into some Pokémon in-game items that are not so easy to get in GB game.

It goes like 5000 volts change into more useful and valuable item than example 2000 volts and that way. The highest volt number you could collect by playing minigames was 10'000 if I don't remember wrong as Pikachu's logo attack in Pokémon games is "juumanboruto" ("10'000 Volts"), which ended up named Thunderbolt in english version.

Yeah spiffy features. I just got berries from his volts LOL I wanted him to like me more than add stuff to my Pokemon Gold Game. And take your time Elana. You'll get it up and running at some point Cheesy
