I apologize for the spam that was on the forum for a day or two. That was certainly disgusting...
As each person signs up I generally look at the profile to make sure it looks normal. Most spammers have junk all of their profile, linking to whatever they are selling, so it's easy to pick them out and ban them before they even get a chance to post on the forum. Usually that is the case to. But the offensive spammer this time had a clean profile, there was no way I could tell who they were or what they were going to do.
Regardless of it, I apologize for the offensiveness of it, it is amazing that those people don't look at the forum topic and realize they shouldn't morally post such filth here. But alas the world is filled with those types...
If any of you come across any such spam in the future, you are welcome to select the Report To Moderator link available beside each post. That pops me an email and usually I am pretty good with checking mail every day even if I don't get around here every day.
If this begins to happen more frequently then I may have to come up with a way to stop such spam activity, however I don't want to do it in a way that would hinder everyone else from posting what they want, so I'll have to think about this.
TigerLily has my eternal thanks for always being on top of such things.
I welcome all comments or thoughts on this...
