Further Details on Event

Well after lots of feedback on this topic, and looking back at past suggestions, this upcoming hatch will have the theme of growth, renewal and bringing back...exactly the thoughts of the Spring season! For this hatch we'd like to aim for everyone to attempt hatching an older tamagotchi, or hatch a tamagotchi virtual pet who has a bright and colourful shell that reminds you of this season (floral patterns, bright greens, pinks, blues, yellows etc...whatever works for you.)

Bonus kudos if you Hatch: Morinos, Mothras, Osutchi Mesutchi couples and Tamagotchi Connection couples of any version to mate and have Spring babies Cheesy

If you are just mating Tamagotchi Connection of any version, bonus kudos if you get the following character(s) as adults: Mimitchi, Furawatchi/Violetchi, Kuchipatchi and Memetchi.

FAQ Regarding this Chat Event

Does it matter that much what you hatch? Nope! You're allowed to hatch and get whatever character you wish to aim for on any virtual pet your heart desires. It's just more fun and interesting to put in some extra pats on the back if you get certain characters and get some Spring mating action going on.

Do I need to restart or reset any of my virtual pets? It's not needed if you don't want to. If you have babies on pause on a tamagotchi, just unpause it when hatch time comes. If you have parents leaving the children that night, set the time to before midnight so they'll leave you a baby. If you do wish to reset or start over on a virtual pet, it's completely optional. I know some people here wouldn't want to mess around with their generation numbers too much. I can understand that.

Does it matter if I hatch or not? Nope! If you just want to come in and chat with others in the room during the event, that's okay too. I aimed for May 2nd eastern time speaking so I could DJ during for people in chat, and I aimed for the hatch to be a bit later so people who aren't going to hatch can tune in an hour earlier to just listen and chat. Either way, hatching and/or going with the themes this chat event is entirely up to you guys Smiley

Can I bring a friend? Sure! All friends of Tamagotchi Social Sphere members are more than welcome to join us in chatting and even hatching if they choose to. Please keep in mind though that they are not exempt from the rules TSS has set out for rules in chat and the forums, so I suggest letting them know ahead of time what is and isn't allowed to be done/said in the chatroom so to prevent any chatroom drama or other issues. We want the chat to be friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

What if I can hatch, but can not attend the chat event? No problem! After said chat event a Spring Hatch log will be placed for everyone who hatched in the event to post their progress. If you weren't able to attend, you can still put your Spring hatch into the log since you were hatching with us, just not in chat too.

What if I can't attend or hatch? No problem! We'll just have to try again next hatch now won't we Wink lol.

I'm having trouble getting into the chatroom before the hatch date. What do I do?
If you are using mIRC to get into the chatroom, currently (if this information changes Kat, let me know and I'll change the connecting information) you connect using irc.everywherechat.com by typing into mIRC "/server irc.everywherechat.com" and if your username is registered you might have to put in your password. After it shows you're connected, type in "/join #Tamagotchi" and you should be in the room by then.

If you are connecting through the forum's link on the left hand side for Tamagotchi Live Chat, make sure all flash and java on your computer is up to date for the chat to work properly. Suggestion would be to make sure one or both methods work before the hatch to cut any stress from the day in question. Any problems or help required, Let me or Kat know privately and we'll try to help you out!

***

I think this pretty much covers everything. If you have any further questions, concerns or just comments, feel free to leave them here Smiley

I'm not sure what I'm hatching yet either Jiro lol. I'm leaning towards my mothra, morino or another one of my other virtual pets. So many to choose from! lol.

Little over 3 weeks remaining before the Spring Hatch! I mentioned in my logs about hatching a nano baby, but I don't know now if that'll happen or not depending if I can get the one I got a month or more about working again or not (just stopped working today for no reason Tongue) but very sure a mothra and morino on my end will be hatched. Hopefully I'll get a different character out of Morino lol.

While I'm thinking about it too, I will be DJing that evening when we hatch and are there any requests ahead of time you guys wanna hear before/during/after the hatch that night? I'm leaning towards making a special playlist all of people's requests if possible so you guys can enjoy the tunes even more!

I decided to hatch a V5 or a Mothra Smiley
since I've never reach the adult stage Tongue I felt guilty and I think my mothra deserve to live til the end Cheesy

I think I'm gonna go with my Mothra instead of V5 ^^

I think I might lean towards my mothra too along with my newer morino I haven't started up yet too. I got like 5 famitamas (both english and japanese) that I haven't started up yet but they can be started up later Cheesy I'm still trying to see if I can get my one nano baby working yet, it's being REALLY finicky.

Rose: Sounds good Rose hope to see you there!

Sounds exiting, since I now know how to access mIRC(thanks for adding that, TL, I couldn't find the board where Kat previously told me how to do it). I don't know what to hatch... maybe I'll get a new Tama/ some new Tamas to hatch... I wanna customize some with pastels and flowers!  Grin  It's a great time, too, as long as I don't have anything I'm doing for long after school( gets out ant 3:30 PM), Friday at 5PM(I'm in the west coast). I'll inform everyone if I get a/some new additions(hoping for a Mesu and Osu!)!
