I was just wondering, since I came home from quite a long journey and arrived home at about 9:50 pm to find my Tamagotchi asleep, I was wondering: How long do the Tama's sleep and/or about what time should they wake up.

As a side note, I wake up at about 7-8 am, so should my Tama's be awake by then?

Depending on your tamagotchi really. Some versions of tamagotchi connection have characters that wake up/go to sleep later than others, and others like angelgotchi wake up earlier anyway overall.
