tohu is the subject thankfully i he has been on pause since he ummm evolved,say how long does it take of a v4 memory to whipe to the point where you can't download?
In order for it to be wiped you have to reset it, not choose download. So even if the battery dies, it'll save it's last date, time and progress it was on.
