Disney will start producing movies and weekly shows with japanese animation studios, targeted primarily to japanese audience.
Lilo & Stitch is now "Hanako & Stitch"..OK, this was expected. Disney has been big thing in Japan since 80's and sure they were going to boost their image someday with starting to produce anime-style shows for Japanese audience.
And as Lilo & Stitch takes place in Hawaii which has plenty of cultural relations to Japan that movie/show was good nominee for first "japanized" Disney product.
(Too bad there's no Lilo anymore and this version happens somewhere in Okinawa, Southern Japan not Hawaii)
