I want to get a V.1 or V.2, but as you know, there are always V.5 or 4.5s at stores. My parents don't bid if I want them to, of course, and ebay's hard to trust. Does anyone know a non-bid-cheap-but-good-and-trustable place?

eBay can be trusted if you know how to bid smart. A few tips:

1. Always check feedback. People say these things about a seller for a reason.

2. Set a price limit. You should remember this so you don't pay a price you're not comfortable with.

3. Recommendations. Ask around for who is the best seller for the item. (in this case, Tamagotchi v1 or V2) I think eBay has forums of their own so you can do this. Also, make sure a seller isn't recommending themselves. They may be trying to be a millionaire off of you.

Hope I was of assistance, and best of luck getting your future tama!
