Hi people.

Can someone confirm whether the matchmater comes for old characters. My V4 is on gen 4 and i don't want to reset it.

Mrs Busybody, the MatchMaker, stops appearing once your Tamagotchi
has turned 16 years old(it also grows old at the same time).
So, no, the matchmaker won't appear for old characters. However, if you've another oldie of the opposite sex they could still mate(that's kinda gross).
