Please Help. How do I get skill points?

There are several ways to get skill points.

1. Play games! On v4, Jumping Rope and Mimic will give you 5 skill points in a random skill, Shape will give you 6 Intelligence points, Dance will give you 6 Style points and Flag will give you 6 Kindness points. On v4.5, Climb and Tug-o-war will give you 5 skill points in a random skill, Apple will give you 6 Humour points, Shapes will give you 6 Gorgeousness points and Manhole will give you 6 Passion points.

2. Feed certain foods! On the v4, the melon will raise all skills by 1 point and the yoghurt will raise all skills by 2 points. There are also other stat raising foods on the v4 such as the donut, corn, sandwich, fish and omelet. Sorry, I'm unsure about v4.5.

3. Go to preschool, school or work! If your Tamagotchi is in preschool or school you can get skill points the first ten times you visit. Preschool will usually give one skill point in Style or Gorgeousness but occasionally gives a skill point in Kindness or Passion. I think there might be a chance that Intelligence or Humour is raised but usually if anything happens to these stats when you go to preschool they will drop for some reason. (I'm guessing for the v4.5 skill points so they might not be correct.) For school, the teacher will hide a skill point symbol in a box. The boxes will be shifted around and then you need to select the box that the skill point symbol is in. When two boxes flash it means that they have swapped positions. Mr. Turtlepedia raises Intelligence and Humour, Ms. Flower raises Style and Gorgeousness and Mr. Canvas raises Kindness and Passion. If you select the right box then your Tamagotchi will gain three skill points in whatever stat your Tamagotchi's teacher raises. If your Tamagotchi works, you can get up to eight skill points in a certain skill every time you visit. You will need to play a game when your Tamagotchi goes to work. If you do perfectly your Tamagotchi will gain 8 skill points in that job's category! For example, if your Tamagotchi has an Intelligence job it will gain 8 Intelligence points! If you don't complete the game you should still earn some skill points.
