Wow it's been a while since i wrote on this forum. My passion for tamas kinda died a lil while ago just after i got V5. I think it totally sucked. But i've now found the passion again =D. I started up my V4, 4.5 (these are my fav versions) and went and got a music star. I am loving looking after these little guys again. I am also going to get myself a tamagotchi id. I've been looking at it on youtube and just love the colour animations. it will be my first tama in japanese but i have found english instructions for it. I can't wait till i get one. I'm also looking to get a tamawalkie. The idea of it reminds me of pikmen on wii, which i loved playing but got too hard.

To the people that have music stars, do you have an issue with how slow the buttons respond when pressed? Sometimes it takes me 2 or 3 times to press it kinda hard for it to respond. Really bugs me, i hope i just didn't get a dud one.

Anyways thats all for now. I'll leave u with a pic of my lil tama family. I don't remember the character names anymore but from left to right is, daren, ivy and pepper is the music star. ANDDD just after posting this the purple V4.5 evolved!

I really like your white/multi-colored tama shell! Sometimes my love for vpets dwindles a bit, especially when I have some responsibility to take care of that causes them to become a distraction, such as school work. The buttons on my V6 were also a bit unresponsive, I think that's just how they were designed. I hope that the upcoming tamagotchi's buttons are easier to press. Do you like your V6? I personally didn't care for that version, but to each his or her own.

The V6...I'm still trying to get the hang of it. I've tried looking everywhere to find out how to get the instruments and can't find anything. It's really bugging me i feel stupid with this versin. I've had a trumpet ever since i hatched it. Grrr. If you have any info you could give me on the music star that would be great, rollercoaster.

I also picked up a tamawalkie from my local toy store. It was on sale for only 6 bucks! bargain, and i also picked up another music star only because it was 7 dollars. another bagain. I haven't opened these ones yet as i'm having a hard time with the music star.

I also treated myself to a tamagotchi ID. I'm super excited to receive this.

Ooh, Tamagotchi iD sounds like a lot of fun. Now, about that Music Star...

When your tamagotchi grew into its childhood phase, the school teacher eventually showed up and invited it to school; she also gifted you with a new toy, right? Well when your tama becomes a teenager, eventually the music school teacher will invite it to music school, and he'll give you another instrument as a gift. I know that getting instruments this way will be a lengthy process. If you want to get more instruments, you could log onto music city and play some games to earn money that you can spend on new instruments. I'm not sure how much time that would take because I've only been on the music city site a few times.

Also, when you go to school, it doesn't really tell you about the mini game there. I don't want to spoil anything for you though, being that this is your first music star. So if you can't figure out the music school game, or any of the other ones that the instructions just happen to "forget" to mention, let me know, and I'll tell you how to do them.

I did receive the trumpet as a gift when i was invited to school as a child,  but i was never given another instrument at all by anyone. I ended up going into tamatown lastnight, and with the help of my little brother who is keen on the games, ended up getting me two instruments. And then we got stuck on 'how to get the instruments on the actual tama' OMG i nearly ripped my hair out but then we figured it out, haha. I don't think i can count on my brother to get me more instruments as he was over the games by the end of the night. It took a lot of work just to get the two.

I did figure out the mini games. I prefer those to the actual games on the tama.

My music star also got to 'marry' today and have a baby. i think that process from baby to marriage is faster on the v6 compared to my V4.5.

Anyways there is so much more to still learn on this music star. That's the only thing keeping me interested in it so far, i hate giving up!
