The purpose of the February SuperEvent! is for everyone at TSS to get together and do some 'un-regular' stuff together. If you have a DS, and you've got WiFi capability, go to your nearest WiFi connection point with your WiFi-enabled games! Perhaps you could visit another TSS member's town in Animal Crossing, or host somebody for a Mario Party game!

On the other hand, if you fancy showing off your perfect articulation to the members of TSS, grab a microphone and some headphones, and join in the voice chat! We'll be doing this (voice chat ONLY) in MSN Messenger, which is compatible with most email addresses. If it's not compatible with yours, however, drop over to MSN.com, download the client, create an email address, and voila!

If you're too shy to do that, though, then get out your varnish and paint pots for our Customtam hatching! Bling your tams in whatever way you want, then hatch them at the hatching! Valentine's Day, animals, friends, colour... the theme is up to you.

I think this is on the 16th. I hope it is because Friday morning might not work for me if my boss doesn't close the place down.

Also, is it okay to just hatch a tama and not spiff it up, and just chat? Just making super sure

Umm... I'm on DST... so I'll have to get up at 5AM on Friday...that might not work. Maybe Saturday/Sunday instead? BTW, Kat, the current date this is scheduled for is the 16th. TL, it's fine to not make your tama customized. Eveh and I sort of came up with this on a different topic, remember?

*slaps forehead and swears* I am such a fool. I should've checked this thing before I posted the plan. If everybody in America is unable to come, I guess I'll have to bump the time a few hours forward, as I do want everyone to be able to be here for this hatch. Stupid me.

I fixed the time plan for y'all and changed the date, I hope this suits everyone! I checked, and I believe the only members on DST are myself and Jen, so everyone else should be in the clear.

Becca, you don't have to customize your tama, but maybe just a little sticker? A splash of paint? Or you can hatch in the theme of Valentine. Either one goes.

Kat, can you please change the link date on the calendar? I've set it to be Saturday and Sunday instead of Friday and Saturday, so that all of us can come.

I hope this suits everyone better, and that we will all be able to come! Please note, however, that we will only be doing voice chat in MSN, so otherwise, just pop along to the normal chat for the hatch.

I don't want to sound know-it-all, but the time between UK and other West Europe (listed as "most of the Europe" in that plan) is 1hr, not 2hrs.

That wouldn't be problem any other way but it tilts all the other times from West Europe to New Zealand 1 hour late.

I am not sure if my Trillian (the multi-IM client that can handle MSN, AIM and ICQ accounts in one software) supports MSN voice chat. It should, but I haven't check that ever.

Are we keeping the chat as group-IM conversion or in some MSN.com chatroom?

I use Trillian and have used it for an MSN voice chat before. I believe it should work.

We are keeping the hatch chat in our regular chatroom at everywherechat.com.

On the timezone thing, are you sure? I just bumped the times for every place forward 2 hours... >>

Edit: I checked on the original plan, and there was no time listed for UK/Iceland.

Edit2: In every other chat plan, it's a one hour time difference. I fixed it.

Yes, Cho, now the timetable is correct.

And now I finally realized why Jiro comes always 1hr late in hatches. There is little mistake in the table, my mistake which have been copied to all the 6 tables collected in "Event Time Schedules" topic.

There says "Indonesia (west)" in the every schedule, thou it is 1 hour LATER than the "Indonesia" time which is actually the time for West Indonesia.
Can you change word "east" in the place of "west" in that "Indonesia (west)" in your C-plan?

I'll contact Kat about that and ask her to change it in other timeplans.

You two have done big job with all this organizing, congratulations!

I hope you yourself can handle the 2AM time.

Timeplan Creating Tip

I have couple of notes in my head when I count the hours for places around the globe;

Difference between USA West Coast (PST) and USA East Coast (EST) is 3hrs

Difference between USA EST and UK/Greenwich is 5hrs

Between UK and my timezone (Finland, Greek, South Africa) it's 2hrs

And between my timezone (UST+2) and Thailand/East Indonesia it's 5hrs

With these little notes in my head I can easily check if there is error in my timetable. Like, if there's error somehwere between USA West Coast and UK, and it gives some other number than 9 I have to check the hours between those two places again and more closely.

No sooner said than done, Kokuma, and please call me Eveh. On the subject of the organization, thanks! I think it went quite well between me and Jenna, although this is the first time we have organized an event like this. Thanks for the timezone tips, they should be quite helpful! And as for the *3*am time, Tully would make it a certainty I'll be up around then.

I'll be moderating the voice chat, but not voice chatting myself. EVERYONE who is voicechatting should organize their mics and get MSN ASAP! Everyone who's doing WiFi, make sure you have a game that you and another TSS-ian can play. As for the customtam hatch, can everyone involved in this please bling their tamas soon, so you have them all customized before the hatch day. I hope to see y'all there, as usual!
