My first pokemon game for my Game boy colour was Blue
Good stuff
My smile was actually from yesterday but I forgot to mention it lol. I got a mimitchi on my japanese blue P2! I was really happy about that.
Also my friend Jonathan apparently got a kitten few days ago as a new addition to his household and he named him Beast LOL! Actually his wife named him but still you get the idea
He's all brown and his eyes are sort of greenish depending on the light. He's very cute and I got him and Jon as my wallpaper on my computer right now that's how cute Beast is lol.

It made me smile last Saturday I did a thing called "Free Hugs".
I was holding this piece of card that said Free Hugs, and gave a total of 170 hugs. In fact, I met quite a few people including a boy that I got on quite well with, and today, well, I just happened to bump into him in the streets, and I was happy to see him again. ^^
Free hugs really makes you smile for days on end.

TigerLilly - I'm currently playing FF3 on the DS, and I can assure you that any of the oldschool FF games will require you to do some mad leveling. My boyfriend is playing FF4 on the PSX, which I just bought him recently. (It has Chrono Trigger, which is the game he *wanted* so desperately but then when it got here he decided to play FF4)
I'm smiling from ear to ear as it's my break from work (I work from home), and I've had one hell of a day so far....so the break is exactly what I need. I'm going up to a local Chinese buffet with my boyfriend and his mother for lunch and I could use that time to kinda unwind before my next shift.
Also, I finally broke down and bought the V5 Celebrity from Amazon...I should be getting it by the end of the next week. I'm dead excited to play with it. ^___^

I found this out for sure lol. I'm really enjoying the challenge in FF4 though, and the walkthrough/guide I'm using is also helping with the tougher spots. How's FF3 on the DS? Is it a great remake of the original?

I'm smiling 'cause you two talk about the greatest RPG series on earth: Final Fantasy! ;]
TL: FF3 DS is a.. well, how do I put this down... a pure nightmare.
It's 5x harder than the original just because some bosses got major arse-whooping power(aka boosted)
and some classes, Sage for instance, got nerfed pretty hard.
Ninja received some nerfs but they still rock the entire game, thus why I'm not using one. XD
Some classes on the other hand, Summoner *wink*(me loooove), suddenly became murdering machine(better than killing machines!).
Graphics wise it's a big letdown though. Everything has been a big letdown ever since Square merged with Enix *sweat drop*
we where better off without Enix!
You should definitely try it out. It's a huge challenge + in "3D"! XD
I'm also smiling 'cause I'm waiting on
FOUR
Tamagotchi's to arrive from Japan. Me love Yuna and her wicked network. :3
Oh, and one from Netherlands as well! XD

Actually FF4 seems like more a bigger challenge than the original too so it'll be interesting to see how I would do in FF3 (since the original I never did get around to finishing). Thanks for the head's up!
Smiling today because I work more this week, which means more money for next week's paycheque
Yay! lol.

TigerLily- I'm loving FF3. I never got to play the original as it was only 'officially' released when they brought it out on the DS with the revamped graphics. I think it's awesome seeing it make that jump from 2D to 3D, and I hope they go through all the old school FFs and revamp...At least up to FF7 (Which I think they could do a phenomenal job by using today's new technology and giving it just that much more detail. FF8 is kind of where they started getting into the more detailed graphics...not to mention 8 was probably one of my least favorite battle systems.
Sera- I've only gotten two of the crystals so far (10+ hours into the game, mind) and I'm in the process of going through the dungeon for the 3rd crystal. So far my party consists of White Mage, Black Mage, Knight, and Geomancer. I *love* the Geomancers 'Terrain' ability. When the right element is used Luneth does 1000+ damage and it rocks so hard. I can't wait until I unlock new classes. I was kind of hoping that each character would have slightly different costumes ala X-2...I loved that! Ahhh well...
Eventually, once I beat FF3, I'm going to pick up a copy of the newly revamped FF4...I'm excited to start that one as I've been watching my boyfriend play it and I love the music from it and it looks awesome even with the outdated graphics.

atashi- the geomancer class is amazing. My Ingus were one at 99 JLV before I changed him into a Summoner(love!).
Sure, I had to trade in his 9,999 single-target-Shadowflare for a 7-8k all-hitting-Megaflare(Bahamut) but I don't regret it one bit!
The characters do have slightly different costumes with the forth tier of jobs(the last ones from the earth crystal), though
not all the jobs. Only the devout, mangus(did I even spell that right?) and ninja as far as I know. ;o
After the Earth Crystal everything just gets 10x harder. I'm currently grinding up JLV's and experience. ._.

Yay!! I have gotten the 4th tier of jobs...actually I've had them for awhile, I just forgot about the whole conversation until this morning...^_^;;
You know the oddest thing is that I somehow managed to get to the earth crystal boss
before
getting the last horn! I don't know how I did it but I wandered around the area the earth boss is at to level up then defeated him, looted all the treasure chests then checked out what I believe the final area is...Gotten up to the part where you need the key to unlock the doors! Then I ran all the way out again and went outside that area where the earth crystal monster is and I did try to find my way back in. I must of somehow discovered a glitch without even knowing it!
Well now I've been wandering around fighting random battles until I feel I'm ready to fight the final boss. I *LOVE* summoner! Right now my party consists of Devout (the costume is sooo cute!!), Magus, Summoner, and Blackbelt. You know after all this time thinking that mages were the powerhouses of groups I find that he does consistantly lower damage than both my summoner and blackbelt...
And also I've cracked open a brand new game my boyfriend bought me: Odin Sphere. I went to a game shop and the assistant put on a copy for me to play in the store and I'm hooked. It's got the whole traditional RPG storyline but it's a 2D fighter. I've already gone through Gwendolyn's story and started Cornelius's. The game has a nifty timeline where you can re-view cutscenes and even has it organized so you can compare it with the other characters in order to what came first. The game has at least 5 different character stories 100% with voiceovers...and they're well done. I'd seriously pick up a copy as all around not only do the graphics look nice, the story is intriguing, but the game is seriously addicting and hard! I've had to knock mine down to 'Easy' midway through (yes you can change it mid game!), and there's two other difficulty tiers to play yet I struggle with easy on alot of the boss fights!
