Looks like third installment of Corner Shop series that was released in Japan in September 2007 under name "Tamagotchi no Puchi Puchi Omisetchi: Minna SANkyu!" (Tamagotchi's Petit Petit Store-tchi: Everybody THANKyou!) is going to appear in USA in 18th of March 2008

(NOTE: The japanese name includes a wordplay as "sankyu" is "thank you" pronounced japanese way, and "san" means three  )

Example Amazon.com has announced it with "preorder" status

I don't know is the third game any kind of different from the first two games, but it's sure nice to see the third (and propably last) Tamagotchi cornerstore simulation make it into the Western countries.

*sigh* When will Bandai learn that we want better Tams, not junky merchandise?

I really liked the first two corner shop games, even though I only own the first one.I think they should make a Tamagotchi RPG or something. That'd be cool.Or maybe another one similar to the old GameBoy one?I heard it's cute.

There is actually Tama RPG for Nintendo DS in Japan. It was released couple of months before that Omisecchi 3. I don't know much about the game but there's word "Niji-venture" in the name ("rainbow-venture")

I think it's more like a Hamtaro-style adventure game for 8yos than real console RPG.

Here's an article about CS3, including an image with Violetchi:

They don't mention a release date though...they just say "this summer".

The (USA) release date is delayed until 13th of May

IGN has made real information page for Corner Shop 3 instead of just short news synopsis with no screencaps.

57 days left, friends! :-)

Amazon will get the game in stock May 1. Hmm... wonder why they delayed the USA game release 'til May 13? Taking too long to make an English version or something?

EDIT- Wow, I bought that game a loong time ago. 0_o' It's good;kawaii. ♥  Grin
