Bubble tea? That's a new one, I haven't heard of it before. Is it like carbonated tea?
Nope. I'm not 100% sure what it's made of, even though I've had it many times. There are also a lot of different varieties. I usually have chocolate flavoured milk tea, although there are black teas and green teas and all sorts of stuff on the menu at bubble tea places.
They are cold drinks, usually milky or fruity flavoured, and what makes them "bubble" tea are the little balls of tapioca that they put in the drink. You drink it with a really thick straw so that you can suck up the tapioca balls and chew them while you're drinking.

It's fun!
Bubble tea places around here are often the only places open past midnight, so they are very popular hangouts.
