Kazu left his baby boy last night, and now he is with me as a Kinakomotchi. I named him Aaron, after a long time of wondering what name I should use. I also picked up an Aquapalz Dolphin today at Target. The animations are really cute, but since Coral(what I named my dolphin) is still a baby, I can't play games etc. with her yet. I'll let all of you know what my opinion is on that once I can acess it.
I figured out how to save the pictures on my camera onto files! I hope I can put some on here for my logs.

Here's what happened with my AquaPalz pet yesterday...
I was going to my friend's house and I could NOT figure out what was wrong with my AquaPal, Coral. She was still a baby but sick, empty on almost everything, and the water cleanliness was at zero. I couldn't find the medicine anywhere, but it said that's what you had to give it to cure it in the instructions. I gave up and just left her in the car when I got out, figuring she would be dead/would run away when I got back. I hadn't read the instructions carefully enough. It can't 'run away' when it is a baby, and you can't play with it or give it medicine in the baby stage! When I got home and got her out of my mom's car, there was something weird on the screen. I pressed C and Coral became a kid in a bigger tank. I can now take care of her, and she's not very needy. You only really need to take care of her once an hour!
The animations for AquaPalz are VERY good, they're 3-D and realistic. Very good, best graphics for any knock-off I've seen. A good pet if you are taking care of some others, but if you like needy pets, this probably isn't one you'll enjoy. You can still play with it if it's not in need of anything, though. Games get you items for your tank, and just playing with it shows and adorable animation. This is not a Tamagotchi copy, but a different type of VP. Different and original, I like it.

Aaron turned into an Ichigotchi today, I'm so relieved I got a healthy character. I'm leaving for camp tomorrow, so I gotta leave my Tamas here on pause(they search EVERYTHING in your luggage, pockets, etc.NO ELECTRONICS.not even flashlights.)I have one concern, though- I haven't figured out a way to pause Coral(AquaPalz).Anyone know??? I might make a help topic if I don't get any replies about it soon.

There really isn't a way to pause it, but if you leave it alone for a few hours it should be fine. You can also change the time to 9pm so it'll go to sleep. I just leave my jellyfish alone.
I was thinking about making a guide in here for such occasions.
Oi, I'm afraid there's really no chance if you're taking it for such a long period of time. Sorry.

Hi everybody! I came back from camp today,it was so awesome, I wish I could have stayed longer. My Tamas were on pause the whole time, and I THOUGHT I had figured out how to pause Coral...but I didn't. Since it was the third day, I got the screen where I could press C to get her to her adult stage. It stayed like that all four days, and when I got back I pressed C to get past the clock screensaver thing, and got the change-to-adult-tank screen. However, when I pressed C, instead of putting Coral into the larger tank and as an adult, it showed me a picture saying that Coral ran away due to her tank being too dirty. I reset the unit and Lilac is with me in her child stage.

In case you didn't know before, the matchmaker brought wives for Shigeru and Shinji before camp. They left their two children here with me. Shigeru had a daughter now named Mariko and Shinji had a son now named Haruki.
~Tamagotchi Japanese Fun Facts~
Here are the origins of some Tamagotchi character names:
Mizutamatchi- Mizu means water in Japanese, and Mizutamatchi looks like a water droplet.
Ringotchi- Ringo means apple in Japanese, and Ringotchi looks like an apple

I'm sorry about your aquapet, Have you tryed pausing by taking the battery's out? you know like a connection. I couldn't,t figure out how to pause for awhile so I would just pull the battery out and then put them in when I could play and download.

Crystal_Gardian:I actually was going to do that, but in the instructions it said that changing the batteries(or taking them out)deletes all data for the pet.
Lilac turned into an adult this morning, but the strangest thing happened. She wouldn't play, no matter how full the tank cleanliness was(there's not an oxygen screen since she's a dolphin and they don't breathe underwater), how perfect the temperature was, or how many/how little tank decorations there were. I gave her medicine, but it got her down to one heart since she wasn't sick. I couldn't do ANYTHING with her- not even explore her tank. I thought she'd just die, since every few minutes she made this noise meaning she was very unhappy. Whenever she made the noise, I'd try to play with her, but she wouldn't. I eventually ignored her, but after a while, I played with her and... she played! AquaPalz sure are strange VPs when it comes to their moods.
Now she has a tank twice the size of her old one. I can play with her in four different ways now instead of just one: she swims around a clam, she tries to jump through a hula hoop many times in a row(which she sometimes fails at and gets a little sad),tries to hit a ball with her tail(which she often fails at and gets upset),and a hand(apparently mine) calls her and she looks around in a cute way. I can play three games instead of one to earn tank decorations, too: the beach ball game(were I have to hit ten-out-of-fifteen beach balls off her head),the avoid-the-wall game(were I have to guide her quickly around a brick wall a few times),and(my personal favorite)hide-and-seek(I have to find her by looking around the tank's decor and see which one she's hiding behind).
Mariko(MRIKO) evolved from a Kuchitamatchi to the adorable Ura-Young Memetchi. Haruki(HRUKI) evolved from Mizutamatchi to Gormetchi, a teen I haven't had yet. Mametchi is 20 years old today, I hope he lives past 22(the longest I've had a Tama live is only 23 years),I really like having him around.
Just to see what you readers like, would you like it if I added my Tamagotchis' stats (weight, skill points, money, etc.)at the end of each log post?I've seen others do it but I don't really care much for it myself,so I don't do it. But if all of you like it I could add it,or anything else you might like me to add to my logs(besides pics, my files keep deleting themselves... 0_o I'll try to use the scanner to get some up.).

Last night Aaron evolved into Dorotchi. Another character I've never had, but it's not all that cute...
Today I got Lilac confiscated. I checked on her between 3rd and 4th period, healed her sickness and took care of her, then put her away(sound off the whole day). At lunch I was holding her and my Tamas in my left hand when a counselor came and took her away. I started pausing my Tamagotchis, thinking she'd take them away too, but she didn't. I wondered why she didn't take my Tamas for a few minutes, then realized what happened- she thought it was an iPod!At the end of the day I had to go through a lot of asking various counselors and staff in the office if they knew where my "blue dolphin virtual pet that kind of looks like an iPod" was. Eventually I got her back, but I had to copy a rule down and sign the piece of paper I wrote it on. There are only two reasons this aggravated me: 1.I was beginning to write my last name down on the paper and I said "last" as I was doing it so the counselor thought I was asking if I had to write my last name down so she said in an angry, annoyed voice "yes". That counselor told me never to bring any electronics to school again, but the principal and all the other teachers and counselors say it's okay to bring Tamagotchis as long as you only care for them at lunch.
For some weird reason Lilac keeps making this annoying noise every 6 or so seconds while turning her back to me. Tank condition and health are both perfect, so....? This Aquapal sure makes an interesting log... whatta you people think? On an unrelated note, Mikayla says Aquapals are WAYYYYYY cuter than Tamagotchis.
I think NOT!
Mametchi is 21 today!I really hope he lives past 22... maybe I could even get him needy enough to take him in the shower(with a reason)! I'd put a small plastic bag on him and seal it completely, put a bigger one over it and seal it, that put another one that size on it and seal it, so it's pretty much waterproof.

I "paused" Lilac today by making her sleep, like Anna suggested. I kept her at home, and I will unless something happens that makes me do otherwise. I had a dentist appointment today and everything went well, so that's good. Exciting news of the day? A girl from Japan(she's not Japanese, but she has lived in Japan for a while)moved here and is now going to my school! She's only in my elective(now "International Exploration"aka the good geography class;there's two, and this one is the easy one), but the two PE classes for my grade often do things together. Her name is Dallas, and while she knows fluent Japanese and can write/read it, there are some things she doesn't know how to say. Considering that I am completely obsessed with Japan and everything Japanese, it'll be pretty cool getting to know someone who has been there for so long... I think a lot of people here must be like me and love Japanese stuff, right? Anyone been to/lived in/now living in Japan?
Mametchi is 22 today! I hope he can stay with me longer, as I've said a lot...
