Meh... I guess I just have a different take on these American designs. Sorry to be gloomy. My ideal design is as plain as you can get, so it's easier to customize. The only exception out of the ones I own is my HK V2, which is purple with stars. This would mean that the only design that would immediately catch my eye would be the first one, the red one with white spots.

I like the musical notes one too. The Australian ones I saw yesterday in Kmart (yay, released!) were different to these, though they were all pretty decorative and abstract too.

I'm not one to care about shell colour, the inside is what I care about, but I must say, of the ones that weren't FamiTama shells, I really like 'Blue Abstract' and 'Brilliant Ruby'.

Still in love with the white FamiTama shell though.

Most of the designs don't look too bad but I think the names for them are kinda stupid. Sing a Song?!

I found v4.5's and v5's at walmart tonight so I grabbed the ruby design famitama ^_^ Saving it for another hatch or some other occasion.

I haven't looked yet for any V5's around me, because I've been out of the Tama loop for about a month...but now I'm gonna try to get back in because I miss them!
I have a Famitama though so I guess the only reason why I'd get a V5 is so they can connect. But all the colors are ugly....

Get one of the FamiTama designs, then, if you can find them. Most commonly found colors: Cookie Dough, Brilliant Ruby, Blue Abstract, and the white house FamiTama color(in no particular order, besides cookie dough being the most common).

Really? I can agree with some of that since some of those pastel yellow ones or the cookie dough ones aren't my favourites, but rest don't really seem all that bad. I'm hoping there will be more darker coloured designs down the road, but for this haul of the english fami's, it didn't do too bad.
