That first one for the v5 sounds dumb.And I mean the design.

Am I the only one here that actually LIKES the key chains? I couldn't bear not having a key chain on a Tama... but I love key chains on everything,so what can I say? I do like the ball chain a little better,though. For colors, I like a simple pattern or just a small detail. Like the sunflower V4,cheetah 4.5,Hawaiian flower 4.5,etc. When I say 'simple detail' I mean like a clear light blue with a small Mametchi on one side. Something like that, you know? And I can't STAND some of the color combinations-purple,orange,red,yellow,green,and brown?Are the designers color blind or something? Keep it simple,but not just two colors.My sister has a tama like the one on the left of this pic I found on the internet(IT IS NOT MINE):

It's the same design she has,and I love it. I do not own any tama like the pink one this person has, but I like that design,too.

Anna, to your reply at the bottom of page 1: A V4.5 that's white with a red inside background and a red star? That'd take me less than 10 minutes to make! I should send some of the TSS-ians my customized designs for their birthdays or next Christmas. 

Jenna: How can I not agree? I have no idea what Bandai America is up to. I quite liek having all the simple designs in Australia. My V1's original colour scheme was white with Tamagotchi in black on the top and yellow buttons. I ust try to get another of them someday.

I agree. I honestly don't mind the keychains or the antennas being different, so either the japanese way or upcoming north american way is cool with me

I quite like the looks of them so far, and the cute antenna(can you believe that!?)! Looks way better than the Japanese ones to be honest... and the chain with the cute little mascot- brilliant! You betcha I'm aiming for Kuchi Kuchi! EDITED: the black one, too!

Aww, that's not good. Us Europeans are used to it.. we've never had any keychains on our Tamas. :x

*sigh* I think Bandai's going way too far with tamas now. I mean, a family tama? V4 was over the top. V4.5 was bordering on ridiculous. I'd get one of the FamiTamas, admittedly, but not an english version.

I'm easy as to what I ahve on my tam, just as long as it loops around my finger. I get weird looks for having them on my fingers, belt loops,and pouches everywhere.

I was hoping Bandai would keep the key, I'm sick of antennas.I don't really mind them, I just want something a little different.The key thing on the Japanese versions looks so cool. 
I think Bandai should have something new and more original like the old Angels,Oceans, etc. Though FamiTama sounds really fun, and 4.5, in my opinion, is the most fun out of the ones I own, somehting way different yet a lot the same would not only make a lot of money, but it would be more exciting than plain old versions(V1,V2,V3,etc.).

No. No, NO. Please don't tell me this is really all Bandai has to offer us. I really think they gotta get some new designers. I may as well get a Famitama off Ebay now I know how ugly the US designs are.

Really? Some of them I really don't mind at all like the spaceship design, the fishy one, the ruby one and some of the other abstract ones. I'm glad they have the famitama designs too in there.
