[Koluki]

This is an idea for a structured game I had, called Living Japana. It's not entirely Tam-related, but we can have tams as a subset to the story if the other players want.

There's a group of friends going to Japan to live in a collective household together. However, when they arrive, they find that the house they bought has been cited for demolition, so they're in Japan trying to find a place to live, and only one of them speaks Japanese. I'd be wanting 4 people besides me to be the friends, and any number of other people to meet them along the way and befriend them. I'd be open if anyone wanted their character to own a Tama though. The following is my profile:

Name: Katerina "Kitty" Uberblocken

Age: 26

Profession: Journalist

Personality: Kitty is straight-talking and never rests until she gets an answer out of people. She doesn't care about how she looks, and normally just leaves her long thick blonde hair out straight. her clothes are dull and boring, but she still manages to catch men's eyes. She is mainly concentrated on telling the public the truth, but after a scare, she upped. Kitty can be considered a coward, but she really endeavours to keep everyone safe. She'll go an extra mile to help a friend, and an extra hundred to bury a foe. She also believes very strongly in principles, and she fights to the end.

Hobbies: Writing stories, dancing and daydreaming.

Here are some tips on good things to do:

-A cliffhanger ending makes your post much more interesting, and it then becomes a challenge for all the other people.

-If you are filling in dialogue for another character in your post, please keep that character's bio in mind, to give you an idea of how the dialogue should be written.

-I will give people a week to post, and I will decide the post order when I know who the friends are. Other poeple who they meet on their journey will be slotted in as I see fit.

Oh, I'd love to join!  Is your character the one who can speak Japanese, because if not, I'll volunteer for the role!  (If you wanted to be it, then my character can be about to start learning Japanese, if that's okay with you.)

Name:  Taelia Todd

Age: 21

Profession:  Recently got a job as staff member on an upcoming manga release, specializing in inking in black areas and helping choose color schemes for covers, inserts, etc.

Personality:  Taelia is a sweet, slightly introverted girl who can get stressed out easily.  Her busy job has irregular hours which always keep her on her toes.  She has a daring side that wants to take risks, but she is always too afraid to bring that side of her out in the open.  When she began stressing over a deadline, her friends usually came up with some crazy method to make her relax.  But now that she is moving to Japan with a group of unfamiliar people who already seem to be the best of friends, she harbors a secret fear that her weaknesses will make other people wary to get to know her.  This, in turn, makes her even more shy, and until someone breaks the cycle and reaches out to her she will be lost in her own world.

Hobbies:  Reading manga worked on by her new staff companions, getting spa treatments, raising her old-school P2 Tamagotchi

Don't feel discouraged. For some reason the PbP things have always been slow. I don't know if its because people don't enjoy writing or don't enjoy this style of writing or what. It's just been one of those things that have taken a long while to gather interest since it's been available on the board.

I think it's a great story and I look forward to reading it when everything is finished getting organized
