Some restaurants have free WiFi, others you have to pay for.  I know a few McDonald's that have you pay like by the hour.  I think our Panera is free though

Ok I figured out how to get my friend code, so if anyone wants mine and would like to give me theirs, please PM. Im not sure about posting it on here.

Oh yeah, my town grows apples and It's about to grow cherries as well(picked some from my brothers town Smiley )
So I could use some other fruit if anyone on here has some other than the two above and will let me pick some.  Grin

I agree about not posting friend codes on the main board... Just to warn everyone.

Mainly because random people googling will just have your friend code pop up

What do you guys think about having scheduled AC:WW group chats? We can follow the good example of the group hatch scheduling process, and that way we can exchange Friend Codes in the chatroom instead of on the board. If it's a popular idea, I can start a new thread in the group events section.

I think that would be a good idea as long as everyone can show up at the appropriate times ^_^

I'm excited... new fruit!

That sounds like an awesome idea Elana, and I can be flexible as far as times go, I don't mind getting up early or staying up late.
Also, I now have Oranges,Cherries, and Apples on my Animal Crossing. Smiley
I'm working on Coconuts.  Wink
Looking forward to setting up a chat.  Grin

Okay, I started a group chat thread here: http://mimitchi.com/vpets/index.php?topic=386.msg3786#new

Let me know what you think!

(Of course discussion about the game should continue in this thread. Grin )

Heehee - if you drag a t-shirt or a design to the bottom left corner of your inventory, the background will become that colour - and you will get a dotted t-shirt, heehee. I found that out after mucking about on the inventory. Cheesy I have a load of Mametchi faces swirling past now when I pull my inventory open. Cheesy

As for the ACWW get-together, sorry to say, but 3am is not a time I can reach a WiFi nor a computer. =[... Unless by magic something happens which enables me too

I have all the fruits there are!   Grin  Even if you never Wi-Fi (I don't), your mom will occasionally send you a foreign fruit in the mail.  I naturally grew apples, but I got peaches like that.  Then I went to my friend's town.  She naturally grew pears, and got cherries in the mail from her mom so I got those, too.  Then I was mailed an orange, and a coconut washed up on the beach!  Yay!  For those who don't know (and this is IMPORTANT):

If you plant oranges and coconuts ANYWHERE but the little strip of weird-colored ground between the dirt and the sand on the beach, they'll die.  The only way around this is to cut down a tree and put one of those fruits exactly where it was.  As long as you don't fill up the hole between digging up the stump and planting the fruit, it should always grow there.

  Thank you so much, TigerLily!
