It's an entire world you can get lost in!
Make money to pay off your house to upgrade your house!
Make friends with the neighbors.
Make big flower gardens.
Collect furniture sets.
Dig stuff up!
Fish!
Bug hunt.
Visit with Wi-Fi.
Fill up your museum.
Make constillations in the sky.
Shake trees.
Crossbreed the flowers.
Hit rocks with your shovel.
Upgrade your tools.
and more!
You go at your own pace. The game has goals but you can do things as you please. There are no set time goals.

One word of warning though, Don't time travel.
Set your time and date and keep it there especially if you have flowers you don't want to die.

I have one also, so I can give a bit of advice:

  • When you time travel, not only will your flowers die but Turnip Prices at Tom Nook's will never go above 100 bells.
  • Their is a society called the HRA who randomly "grades" your house.  If you want to make a good score, try to get matching wallpaper and carpet (from the same series) or an entire set of furniture.
  • Rumor has it there is a glitch where, if you bury something right next to your Town Gate, it will become a museum.  All your residents will move away and not come back, and you will be unable to have wireless communication.  The only way to fix it is to rebuild your town.
  • Your looks are determined by the question you answer while in Kapp'ns car, right at the beginning of the game.  A guide to getting the face you want is found at www.animalxing.com
  • There are six personality types of your residents: Jock, Cranky, Lazy, Snooty, Peppy, and Normal.  In my opinion, Normal is the best.  If you'rre especially nice to a resident, you may receive a picture of themselves from them.  These, in addition to being a nice way to remember them, earn a huge HRA bonus!

Yep - I caught my Dad walking to Corte Inglés a couple of days, and I asked where he was going - and he said "Off to get a certain DS game as an Xmas present :p"  (Shocked) So I was quite happy to hear so!

So far, what I know about ACWW is that when you neglect the house, cockroaches get in, and you have to chase round after them and squish them (or at least, that happened to Elisenda's ACWW XD)

It's not so much neglecting the house as it is not playing for a while.  My friend skipped for a couple of months and then her houses was infested.  Usually it takes ages to get rid of them, because just about every time you move a large piece of furniture three more get out and start spazzing.   Grin  I've also heard that playing via Wi-Fi for long periods of time has a similar effect.

Oh, there's also a feature in which you can crossbreed flowers.  It's a bit complicated, so just read about it on the website I referred you to.

Yeah... I really would like a Wi-Fi, hehe, or find out where there are Wi-Fi points in Spain. ^_^

2 days left for ACWW... I think. Smiley
