Heres to your cousin getting better very soon.

Is it blood that she is throwing up? There are alot of things that could be(nosebleed could even cause it), but I don't know that any of us here are doctors, so your best bet is to trust the people at the hospital. Whatever the cause, I sincerely hope she gets better soon.

The brown stuff might be blood that has gone brown in stomach. The blood might come from a injury that the stomach liquids have made somewhere in the stomachbag, thou I've never heard that young kid getting an "in-stomach wound".

Might also be that it's some sort of virus or bacteria(sp?). If it's some more 'strong' bacteria like colibacteria, it's dangerous to a that young child, but in case she has been brought into hospital, they can get the vomiting in control there and she's safe now. You can get colibacteria from tap water in places where tap water isn't safe to drink.

I hope your cousin gets better soon. The first thing that makes the situation dangerous to baby with a lot of vomiting like that is dehydration. After that is got under control, ie. stopped, the situation is much better.
Keep us updated with the info how she is doing Smiley

I'm glad to hear she is back home, the flu certainly isn't a good thing but it could have been much worse.
