Living With The Beeps

Wow. I am bowled over, for two reasons.

Spiff reached 99 years about 5 minutes ago, so I connected her with Stars and they had two baby boys. I was kinda pleased about that, but bowled over nevertheless. Lucky me, to have an age glitch.

I also unpaused my Mothra, and when I did so, I saw that she was no longer Moru and Rora, she had left. While she was on pause. I know I did the pausing properly, so what happened? Guess I'll never know.

I also got the urge to start up a new tama today. I gazed very very longingly at the Umi, but I kept telling myself, "No, you'll get snowed under if you do that. Don't you dare." So after a few minutes, I put the Umi aside, and flicked my eyes past my other tamas.

Mori? No, I don't want to get an ugly character, and I want to save raising the polka-dot egg.

P1? No, because its customization is still being done.

Connections? No, I need a break from the rest of them. Stars and Spiff are quite enough.

Japanese Connections? No...

Mesu and Osu pairs? Now there's an idea!

So I pulled the tabs on both pairs and began raising a new family. I now have 4 MohiTamatchis. I've been trying to get one from each of the 4 pairs. I hope it works!

Living With The Beeps

A little parcel came to my door earlier today. I had no idea what it was, so I relaxed for a while before I opened it. To my surprise,it was a TamaOtch and an Angel that I ordered for myself a week ago! They came real quick, I'm pleased. This new addition brings my shell count to a nice round 20! Yay! I'm not starting then quite yet, though.

Oh yeah, and my Tama Addiction Test score is now 89. I'm so obsessed... *hides face* I still have yet to take care of 20 tamas, get 3 Angelgotch or Tama Angels, get a Digimon, dress my Tam up at Hallowe'en, win someone over to buying a tama in a debate, learn my tama's poop schedule, own at least one of every tama connection (will never happen), get the board game, and a Santagotch or Devilgotch, get all the different characters on one of my Tamas, and float my Tama in the water. We'll see.

I was actually thinking of trying the flotation device, as per the question on the test. Thanks though!

Eveh's Exploits in that wonderful world of RL

I am shamefaced. Today I spent over AUS$500 in less than an hour.

First stop: The Mint. Spent $65 on a silver proof coin from the polar series, $90 on the whole of the sea series, $14.95 on the uncirculated 60th Anniversary of UN Peacekeeping coin, and another $25 on the medallion of the same series.

Second stop: a curio shop. Spent $14.95 on a book of the best cartoons of 2007, $3.95 on a bracelet of shell to undo, and $5.00 on a necklace, also to be undone.

Third stop: a framing shop. Spent $82.50 on a custom frame for a picture I painted, and $30.00 on a frame for one of Sio's cartoons.

Fourth stop: a hobby store. Spent $20 on model paints.

Fifth stop: a bead shop. Spent $100 on beads.

Sixth stop: lunch with Kallie and Ama. I paid, and spent $55.50.

Total time taken between entering the mint and paying for lunch: 52 minutes. I am a spender, aren't I?

Living With The Beeps

My Mesus and Osus did exactly what I'd hoped. I now have one adult from each of the four care lines.

Customized Mesu: Pyonkotchi
White Osu: Kiwitchi
Customized Osu: Bunbuntchi
White Mesu: Gankotchi

I'm just pleased I managed not to get the unmateable on the white Mesu, 'cause then I would have had to start it again. Success with goals= (just imagine me with a cheesy grin there)

I'm kinda hoping that if I breed the custom pair together and the white pair together, that I might get different children for Gen2, and then be able to cross-breed. I really want to get Mimikotchi and MaruMimitchi on one pair, and Biruotchi and Birukotchi on the other, then cross-breed. I guess I have to repeat the well-worn mantra of 'We'll see'.

Eveh's Exploits in that wonderful world of RL

I have my first day at the new job tomorrow, and I'm hyped. Time to start earning my dues, and hopefully getting experience and having fun too.

I think you have your characters confused. Gankotchi is mateable according to this chart:

I think you meant Sutebotchi and/or Tuketchi. Otherwise congrats on the characters Cheesy

Living With The Beeps

Yay! Mesu and Osu pairs are awesome in their predictability.

I got a pair of Teletchi on the custom pair, and a pair of Kakutchi on the white ones. I now have a Moritchi, a Morutchi, a Pirloirotchi and a Pirolintchi.

I know I'm going to start up my P1 at the hatch, and try to get a Ginjirotchi, but I'm not sure whether to restart my Mothra or not. I better sleep on it.
