Even though I don't have too much time for logging, I might as well start one anyway!  Seems like fun.


Piko is a 6yr old Ura Mametchi.  He's been great, a perfect pet for the type of busy job I have: he's not demanding or always wanting attention.  He sits quietly in the little change purse (he fits perfectly in it), amusing himself.  When I have some free time I'll play a game with him, but even if the free time never comes around he's still happy-go-lucky.  As a bus driver, Piko makes more money than I do.

He’s still doing that falling-over thing, I don’t know why he does that… I think it started when he turned 3.  He used to sleep from 8pm to 9am, but on Friday I was waiting for a friend to come over (he wanted to see the tiny technology) and I didn’t want Piko to go to sleep so I set back the time.  Now he sleeps from 10pm to 10am, which is actually a bit more convenient.

I’m curious about the matchmaker… can anyone give me any information?

Oh and I know that my anti-tamagotchi boyfriend bought me a Mametchi plush for Christimas

I'm diggin the log so far. Short, simple but very much entertaining!
Ura Mametchi's are wickedly cute and cool, aren't they? Piko sure is
a heck of a cool name! My Tamagotchi makes more money than I do as well.
They have it easier than us humans, don't they?

Well... let's see: she'll start arriving when you're Tamagotchi is 9-10 years old, until its 15, turning 16.
With a suitable partner for your Gotchi of course. She'll visit 3 times a day,unless you've accepted her "offer",
at 10:30AM, 3PM and 7 PM. What else... Oh, once your Tama grown old, at age 16, she'll stop visiting,
meaning unless you've another Tamagotchi with an old, the opposite sex, it can't mate/have babies.

Glad to see you decided to start a log, Sheena.

And about your question, you said you have a V4.5 right? In that case, the matchmaker should be arriving anytime now, she usually begins to come by around age six, if you haven't paused at all.
Also, when she does come, she only stays on screen for like five seconds, so around 10am, 3pm, 7pm you should keep and eye out so you don't miss her.

I agree that Ura Mametchi is wickedly cute!  It's my fave of them all actually, I'm happy I got him!


The matchmaker came earlier and presented my Piko with a potential mate.  I'm not ready to lose him yet, so I said no.  Her offer wasn't that great anyway, lol...  I'm thinking of potentially buying another Tamagotchi, but at the moment I simply don't have the time to take care of two.

Maybe after finals I'll be able to, but even then I work way too much and the company I work for is heading into a really busy season from January through April, so I'll be likely working way too much.  I guess I'll have to pair him with someone from the matchmaker, or let him grow old all alone

After a useless trip to the school, I'm finally home!  I'm glad to be back but I'm about to go study...

I'm not interested in the matchmaker right now, I'd like to keep Piko for a little while longer.  But I'm still checking when she comes, just to see the possibilities.  So far he's been presented with an Ura Debatchi and another that doesn't seem to be in the V4.5 chart.  I wish I had another Tamagotchi, or a friend who had one.  Unfortunately that's not the case.

Just now, the matchmaker suggested a cute little Ura Memetichi.  I couldn't bring myself to let Piko go, so I said no.  He'll mate eventually, but for now he's so undemanding and cute that I want to keep him around.

In other news, I'm extremely tired and extremely busy here at work...  so I should get back to that.

Well, Piko usually wakes up between 9:30 and 10 (I don't know why, I thought this was a set thing.. sometimes he wakes up early).. But today he slept until exactly 10, leaving the matchmaker nowhere to be found.

He wasn't too happy this morning, and then he recieved a poo in the mail  which made him really unhappy.  I had a meeting and I couldn't play with him to make him happier, so he was unhappy for an hour.  I feel kinda guilty about that.

I have an exam tomorrow (yes, on a Saturday... it's like being kicked when you're already down)... The exam is from 2-5 and my boyfriend refuses to take care of Piko during that time  .  I really don't want to pause him, but I might be forced to.  What are the chances that he will become sad/sick/hungry/dead in 3hrs?  If I take good care before and after, he might be okay.  My exam won't take me the whole 3 hours anyway.  In a week my exams will be over and done with, I'll be so relieved when that time comes.


I'm also going to ask my boss today for Monday mornings off next semester, I want to take an early class instead of taking one from 6-8:15pm... Wish me luck!  I know I won't attend class if I don't take an early one...

I actually will give you a little bit of info about my life situation...  I'm the assistant to a VP at a mutual funds company (but I have a background in graphic design/communications.)  I work upwards of 37.5 hours a week on contract, therefor no benefits, sick days or vacation.  I am also a part-time University student, I'm doing prerequisites for Marketing at the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal.  Essentially, I'm too busy to relax even on weekends most of the time.

And, I want to buy another Tamagotchi.  Crazy!

Piko turned into an Ojitchi, and the matchmaker won't come anymore.  He's only 9!  Is this normal?
