Hey everyone,

I'm new here obviously...  I have one tamagotchi, a V4.5, the red one with the butterflies.  I just got it off eBay last week , though I've had quite a few in the past.  In '97 I had a Cyber Kitty Giga Pet (I was 11 at the time) and after that I had these $3 Dinkie-Dino rip-offs that were sold at Dollarstores.  So this V4.5 is my first REAL Tamagotchi.

My tama is named Piko, he's an adult Ura Mametchi (5yrs old, will be 6 tomorrow.)  I refuse to pause him, I feel like I'm cheating because the old ones didn't have this nice little feature.  (On the subject, if I have him on pause for a day, he won't age at all, right? And will it mess up his sleeping schedule?  My exams are coming up and I'll probably need to pause him for those!)

Tamagotchis are not sold where I live (Quebec, Canada) because there's no French version of the toy/instructions.  How lame is that?

Oh, and you can call me Sheena.

Sheena, nice to meet you! As for the sleeping schedule being messed up, no pausing doesn't do that. Wink     Ura-Mametchi is cute.

welcome to TSS Sheena

Yeah, pausing will slow down the aging process but for only as long as your tama is paused. So if it's paused for a day it'll take 24 hours for it to age again. But it won't mess up it's sleeping schedule.

Hello, Sheena! Welcome to TSS, I hope you're enjoying it.  Smiley

I know what you mean about pausing tamas, I always hate doing it but unfortunately for me, I've had to do it quite a bit lately. I also think I may have had the same gigapet you mentioned, but it was a long time ago so I can't remember much about it.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

And wonderfoul, I'm also from Montreal.  I guess you've been snowed in today as well!

Heya Sheena! Better late than never to welcome you here Smiley You got the same v4.5 as I do! I've had my group paused a bit more lately due to being more tired than usual after exercising them having to shovel my sidewalks. Hopefully you didn't have to do any shoveling Wink I'm in Ontario.
