I just started my v4.5 yesterday and maybe it's just that I'm a total n00b, since my last tama was a gen 2, but i assumed that once you started evolving one way, you could only progress from that evolution, however, my tama (a girl, btw) started off as a Tsubutchi (as they all do, I know, I'm captain obvious), then became a Kuchitamatchi. Then today it evolved into an Ura Young Memetchi.
I would have expected it to at least end up as something with a beak/enlarged lips..
or am I just too caught up in the whole evolution tree idea? Or I could just be crazy. You never know.   Grin

I don't know. That's really odd.
I think I'll check around about that, 'cause I think the same thing happened to me a couple generations ago. Tongue

yeah and then it evo'ed into a purimatchi, which is at least a more resonable evo. I didn't realise the v4.5's evo so fast! It's already an adult at age 3!  Shocked

It's true, all of the Tamagotchi Connections have much different growths from the Gen 1 and 2. It's said to be based on care, but with the complexity of the newer versions, exact growth charts are said to be impossible due to all the different variables. No long is it the case that you will have a blob, which grows to a larger blob, to a larger blob with legs, to a chicken. Your Tamagotchi will go through several drastic changes, this time 'round.

That's crazy. I wouldn't have expected that. Thanks, Priestess  Smiley
