Good idea! I think it would be cool to know what people celebrate.
I celebrate Christmas, but I usually get my presents a month or a couple of weeks in advance cos my mother can't wait long enough to give them to us. I don't complain about that!

I do, except ours has always been the spirit of the holidays, all the cheer, rather than the religious side of things.
Christmas to us is a time for getting together in a backyard, BBQ going, seeing those we haven't seen in a while. Nothing better than exchanging cards, gifts and well wishes.
There's always something magical about that day... everybody is so laid back, strangers wish you Happy Christmas on the street... the good mood, the happy times.

I celebrate Christmas. I love the cold weather(even though it nevers snows where I am), the Christmas music, the movies, the food, being with your family;I could go on and on about all the reasons I love Christmas, but I won't bore you with it.
My favorite time of the year is easily winter for so many reasons. I love celebrating Christmas, and not because of gifts, though those are fun to give and get as well.

Me and my family celebrate Christmas, and last couple years I've been getting my gifts early since I order them online
Less hussle and bussle that way. It's especially good for when most of my friends are out of town, and then I can ship them over nicely wrapped
Christmas eve usually is up in the air but my mother and I like going to visit friends and have a good time that evening and Christmas day we go to visit family in Hamilton. Weather permitting this year, Christmas day we will be going to a family get together dinner
I hope it's decent, it's $35 a person.
Overall when you get down to it, I love the time spent with people I care about. With lack of seeing my closest friends lately, I feel a bit on my own and I've told them "If all else fails on presents, just spend time with me, I'll appreciate that just as much" I love get togethers and being with people who I love. Presents are just a bonus

I was think the same thing when I first saw it, but then I thought about and maybe there are just those people that are in religions that traditionally celebrate Christmas, but they themselves don't celebrate it?

There are people who don't celebrate the holiday at all for whatever reason -- I think that's #2. I believe #3 means... "no I don't, but I still celebrate something around this time of year and that something is...." Meaning for the person who selects #3 to tell us about what they do celebrate.
Correct me if I'm wrong here Kokuma.

I celebrate Christmas, but I think the poll question was formed in a way that kind of seems inconsiderate to the other celebrations..
Perhaps the question should just be "What holiday do you celebrate?" and have options like Christmas, Hannukah, Ramadan, Kwanzaa, other, and none. Because those who don't celebrate Christmas might feel singled out or people who don't celebrate anything might feel like they are left out as well.
As it is, the poll question is kind of like creating a poll with the question "Are you white?" and having options like "Yes I am!, No I'm not, I'm another race, like African American" or something.
I don't know, I'm just all about people feeling like they're included.

Good point Madcow! I celebrate Christmas. It's not even about presents, it's about the cold days at home when we all sit and do Christmasy stuffs, and wear fluffy clothes, and yes, presents are fun
. Christmas, for me, is nothing religeous. It's about being with the people I love.
