twitter doesnt cost money, it is free.
Noooo it doesn't, but how my cellphone's contract is, it costs money either way loading a website onto my phone and/or downloading kb fees. So not everyone would want to spend the extra money on their phone bill just to twitter when you can just go online or text one another.
And no, I'm not putting another $5-15 a month just to browse the internet on my cellphone unlimited amounts. In times like this, a lot of people will be doing the same as I am and being a bit more conservative.
You dont have to get online to twitter. You can send text messages. then when you get home see what others have done for that day. It is really cool actually.
Yes, however it must be considered a premium text fee on my contract (instead of texting someone's cellphone) so as I said, it'll probably cost me money in the long run. I pay $5 for 100 text messages (was over 1000 messages when I had a lot of people texting me) and I just don't need the extra stuff on my bill.
As I said the money crunch these days will have those who pay their own bills being a bit more careful.
Unless I can just twitter online (which also proves there's no point for me since I have my own website and forums to go on and update people on my life) then I'm not interested.
I totally understand about the money crunch. House payment cable bill cell phone everything does add up.
And I am guessing this idea is squashed. so no worries.
