Now when Pokémon Diamond and Pearl have been available over half an year and Pokémon Battle Revolution has been released for Wii, I think it's time to start official Pokémon topic in here.

I love Poke'mon.

I have Pokemon Stadium 2 for my Nintendo 64, although I mostly played it for the minigames. I also have Pokemon Puzzle League which, despite having almost nothing to do with Pokemon, is still my favourite Nintendo 64 game.

I started playing the good Pokemon games when I got the GameBoy Color game, 'Pokemon Crystal' for my (then new) GameBoy Advance, my first handheld system ever.
I also have Pokemon Sapphire for GameBoy Advance, and Pokemon Diamond for Nintendo DS. The internet currently does not work on my Nintendo systems, so I have no friend codes to share with anyone.

The Pokemon Trading Card Game... I actually really got into it only about two years ago, my friend had hundreds of cards he didn't want any more, so he gave them to my friends and I, and that is how we formed our first decent decks. I had the Pokemon Starter Set from about a year before that, which came with two Half-Decks (30 cards per deck), a Fighting halfdeck and a Water halfdeck. Also included where two horribly outdated rulebooks, a card checklist from the 1990s (meaning only Base Set and Base Set 2 where out with Jungle and Fossil on the way), and 'Pokemon Play It!', a tutorial CD-ROM game that, when you know that with cheat codes you can unlock super-awesome Fire decks, is still a pretty good game.

Currently I have two decks: a Grass deck painfully overstocked with Pokemon and not enough Energy or Trainers, and a Fighting & Water deck which are those two halfdecks combined, plus some extra Trainers and better Pokemon I found along the way.
I love Trainer cards. They are what make the game really interesting for me. It's like magic at your fingers! *v*

Figure Battle doesn't interest me. =/

I think the Pokemon anime started airing around here about... '98? I've loved it since, and although I love the new Pokemon games and cards, the first season of the anime will always be my favourite, however much 4KIDS messed it up that I can now see.

I, unfortunately, do not a Pocket Pikachu or a Pokemon Mini. Are Pokemon Minis still in production? This Torchic VP program for it is news to me! I want a Torchic VP...

Finally, no Pokemon Doll Dolls here.

I don't know whether or not I'd call myself a fan today, but I definitely used to be.

I own Pokemon Emerald (beaten), Pokemon Pearl (stuck on the Elite Four), and Pokemon Ranger (stuck on Rayquaza), none of which I have touched in a while.  I doubt I'll ever catch Rayquaza in my Ranger, but if I have the time I plan to level up my Pearl enough to beat it as well.

I used to have about five TCG cards, but the only ones I can remember were a Diglett and a shiny Mew card, which I should have held on to, if only so I could sell it off, later.  That was before anything but the Red/Blue/Yellow trio of GB games was out in the states, so there were only 150 Pokemon at the time.  I never got around to actually playing with them.

I used to watch the anime when I was younger, and my favorite episode was the one with the Alakazam that had cast the spell on the archaeological dig, which was a REALLY early episode, so I don't expect any of you to know what I'm talking about.

I'm not sure what my favorite song is, but (random fact) my favorite Pokemon are my Level 100 Jirachi (which my friend gave me, probably obtained via Gameshark), my Level 70 Blaziken, and my level 52 Absol, all of which are on my Emerald cartridge.  They're all extremely usable, so it's no wonder they've become my favorite species.

If I listed every single thing I've had, I'd never finish the list...

I started out with my craze with a red version on a Game Boy color. I got it about a year after it had come out, as usual because my mother had a very large aversion to any handheld games like gameboys and virtual pets. She was convinced that I would experience a seizure or get cancer in her paranoia. After getting the red version, I started collecting the trading cards, and I have about 400-500 cards at the moment, with around 50-70 "rare" star cards. My prized possession was a 1st edition Charizard card, but I have no idea where it had disappeared to. I can't find my 1st edition Wigglytuff, which was the first Jungle rare card I got. Since then I've been hooked. I loved having Ninetails on my versions, and always did the Mew code to get her.... yep there really is one that works! But it's a painstakingly long process, if you do it from the beginning.

At the moment, besides the cards, I have red version, blue version, yellow, silver, crystal, leafgrean, firered, sapphire, emerald, and pearl. My brother plays them way more than I do right now, but that's cos hes a brand new freshman in high school and has way more time than I do. I always go back to my red version, or rather, my boyfriend's old red version cos mine was screwed up due to the MissingNO. code (I caught it on my red version, and now it doesn't save cos the stuff is corrupted now). I love the oldest version the most, but firered has also caught my attention because it is so similar to it. My favorite game has to be the Pokemon Trading Card Game on Gameboy Color, cos it's all the fun of a bunch of card battles without the mess! I can play it while sitting in the passenger seat of the car when I'm bored =D

Figurines? I had my favorite Blastoise and Nidoking. I remember having the Blastoise in those pokeballs that you could press the middle button to open up. They were always my bath buddies. I don't remember specifically which ones I had, but those two were my favorite and so stuck out in my memory. I think my brother had a Butterfree and Venonat. I never had any VPs though.

Maybe I'll remember something else, but yeah, I still watch pokemon when it comes on and I happen upon it, sometimes even looking for it on TV. That's all for me! I love pokemon!

Just Diamond. I'm getting through that game soooo slowly because I love all my Pokemon equally so I want to let them level equally. Slow going...!

Nope, I sell the cards in my store so I'm pretty jaded to it. I see how much people spend and I just go... yeesh... I'd better never get hooked on that.

How long have you been a fan of Pocket Monsters?

I can't say I'm really a 'fan'. Diamond is a lot of fun though.

I have a Pocket Pikachu 2 (the colour one)! He used to come with me everywhere, until I had a scare one day when I almost lost him. Now I keep him on my purse, which is safer, but he hardly ever gets any steps.

Oh, I haven't watched the movies or the show, so I can't pick one...

I'm quite behind in the pokemon thing since I don't own a wii or DS as of yet. Farthest I gone to is Pokemon Emerald on a computer emulator.

This topic really reminds me I should get back into my Pokemon Yellow game lol.

Haven't played Pokemon in a while.

I got my first ever Pokemon game, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, at the beginning of this year. My starter was Mudkip (I'm the timid type) and I picked Bulbasaur as my partner.

My first Pokemon game that played in a similar way to the original Pokemon games (Pocket Monsters Aka and Midori) was Pokemon Diamond. My starter is Chimchar. I LOVE monkeys. I called my Chimchar "Monyet" because Monyet means monkey in Malay.

I don't play anymore, have not since Gold/silver -- this was stolen when our truck got broken into back in California... haven't picked up anything to do with pokemon since. This was prolly back in 2003 or 2004.

Nope. Sadly Pokemon took MTG and classic D&D games and remade it. I'd rather play the real deal =)

How long have you been a fan of Pocket Monsters?

I played the gameboy game for about.. 6 months haha! I played it in the truck to and from work constantly.. hence why the gameboy was stolen because I left it in the glove compartment. Never leave anything at all of value in a vehicle. Ever.

I'm not much of a fan.. the craze passed many years ago for me and it was so short lived. I just liked the gameboy game really. The pocket pikachu is very very cute, I got that before I even played the gameboy.

Pocket Pikachu 2, which to this day is still very cute, I don't regret buying him The pocket pikachu is very very cute, I got that before I even played the gameboy.

I have the first version of Pocket Pikachu, and reading your post makes me want to activate him again! He is indeed very cute. I'll have to get a Pokcet Pikachu 2 at somepoint, I hear those have colored pixels!
