the tamagotchi as i know has a few glitches but i dont understand why it pops up with the battery needs to e repalced icon when it dosnt need to be replaced

What is your question exactly?

I don't personally have a degree in electrical engineering or programming so I don't know why glitches happen. Wink

I have two V3s and one of them does that too.

When I have replaced a fresh battery in it, it starts to show the "battery dry" sign after 15-30mins of uptime. I have found a cure to this problem; I open the battery cover, take the battery out and rub it for some time between my thumb and pointing finger.
That usually works. When I put the battery back and reset Tama, it doesn't show the "battery dry" sign again before the battery really is dead after couple of months.
