Okay, today, I punished my v4 like 10 times and I stood there, watching it. It pooped a few minutes later and lost a hunger heart. I was quite aware of this but I just... left it there. Then for no good reason I shoved it back in its package, had a shower (30 minutes long, or maybe longer, as usual). When I came back it beeped but I ignored it. Then I did something else for a while and I let it beep at me again. Later on when it was having a bath I stopped it and saw it was sick. I did cure it but didn't care for it for a while. Before it beeped again I just fed it four snacks and two meals to fill its hearts and then left it.

Oh, and before all that I did something else. I detached it from my lanyard (and almost lost my v4), simply because it didn't feel really special to me anymore. In fact it never had felt good to have around ever since about the second week. I loathe my v4, but at the same time I want to keep it running alongside my v1, in case they happen to be opposite genders and mate.

And now I'm wondering why I just did that. Every time I promise to take perfect care of my v4 I neglect it. I'm not sure if my v4's going to ever get on to the 22nd generation (it's on 21st now).

Perhaps you should just give the poor guy some peace and not hatch him. Not to be mean, but I feel bad for your V4.

You could just have the matchmaker come on your other Tama. Just a thought.

You honestly have no idea what was going through your mind? Maybe if you could remember, you could target the problem.

But if that doesn't help, I think you should just pause your Tamagotchi when you feel like this. You could unpause it an hour later or maybe three days later. Feel free to pause your other Tama, too, if you want them to grow up simultaneously. But don't feel guilty if you do this: Tamagotchis are a voluntary responsibility, and it's much better to take care of it later when you feel like it than to just neglect it.

Hope this helps!

I suppose I could have the matchmaker come. But seeing as the matchmaker comes 2-3 days after a Tamagotchi evolves into an adult, and two Tamagotchi can mate via connection 1 day after a Tamagotchi evolves, it'll be quicker to connect and mate than wait for the matchmaker. I want to skim through the generations on my v1 as fast as possible, seeing I'm already on 90th Generation.

Right now Xikun (v1) and Mamen (v4) have children- a boy and a girl. So I'd like to marry these.

Some people say that to love your Tamagotchi you should go overboard and read and sing to your Tamagotchi and stuff. Others just say just try treating it perfectly for a while and it will become a habit. I might try that.

I know this is off topic but why did you shower and then later took a bath?

The Tamagotchi took a bath, not me.

I'm raising the Xikun's son and Mamen's son now. Deru, my v1, is a Kinakomotchi. She's on 91st Generation, is 0yr old and weighs 10g. Debu, my v4, is a Mizutamatchi (grr, they only seem to evolve into Meme family and I want the Mame family because I want Tensaitchi for once!). He's on 22nd Generation, is 0yr old and weighs 11g. I've been able to take care of them well enough.

At school today, at recess time, the teacher on duty said to me, "You have electronic stuff, don't you? You know they're not allowed."
I replied, "But I've been allowed to take my Tamagotchi to school for years!"
The teacher then told me to put my Tamagotchi in my bag and leave them at home in the future. I told her I got worried about leaving them at home, incase I forgot to pause/put to sleep or something. I also said that they're my only companions and she said, "They're not your only companions! You can go play with your friends." She told me to put my Tamagotchi away and talk to her.

Now, the truth is, I CAN'T go play with my friends. The fact being that I don't have any. I don't really get along with anybody in my school. Actually I don't even get along with myself.

The teacher came back to me after lunch. She told me she had discussed it with the other teachers and they said that I'm allowed to bring my Tamagotchi to school and fix them up at recess and lunchtime, but I have to make real friends. So guess what that teacher's going to do? Try and match me up with somebody. I'm DEAD SERIOUS.

I feel bad for your V4. Are you sure that you actually like Tamas that much?? I think you should pause the poor things when you are like this.. Undecided

Oh. No.

The only thing worse than not having any friends is someone forcing you to make one.

Sorry about my previous post, I didn't even read your newest one. I've been through that before, back at my old school (private school). The teachers were always saying stuff "why don't you "mingle" with the other kids?" I didn't go around with them because they were all mean - prep school is stupid. I'm glad your allowed to bring your Tama to school (I always bring mine, everyday) - but as I said in my above post, if you get to the to the point that you don't feel like caring for it - pause it, as it will be better for you and your Tama.
