The manual says that each day a Tamagotchi lives is equal to a year old. My Tamagotchi has been alive for 2 days and it hasn't grown older. Why is this happening? Is there a glitch or something?

When did you start counting? Because I believe the age ticks over 24 hours after the Tamagotchi is hatched. So if you hatched the Tamagotchi at 7PM, it won't change age until 7PM the next day.

Also bear in mind that the age starts at zero.

Hope that helps!

If you pause your tama at all, the time that it was under the pause won't count towards the age. And what Elana said, too =p
