Coming up this Thursday is TSS's first birthday!
There are a bunch of events planned to make November 1 a special day on TSS, and one of them is a super awesome midnight hatch around the world. This is different from a group hatch; we will not be meeting in the chatroom to hatch at the same time. (Although feel free to hang out in the chatroom as you do it.) Since midnight, November 1 happens at different times around the world, what we're asking you to do is
hatch a Tamagotchi at midnight, your time, at the moment the calendar turns over from October 31st to November 1st. So that there will be a baby born at midnight all around the world! (So
hatch your Tama at midnight, the night of October 31.)
To show that this baby is a special anniversary baby, here are some suggestions on a name for your anniversary Tama:
- Anni (short for "anniversary")
- TSS07
- First, or 1st
- One
But any name that expresses your joy at the first TSS-iversary will work great! If we all have similar anniversary-themed names for our Tamagotchis, that will bring us all together in celebration.
If midnight is a difficult time for you to hatch a Tama and/or raise a baby, here are some suggestions:
- Go to bed at your usual time, but set an alarm for midnight. Hatch your Tama, but pause it right away, and go back to sleep. Raise the baby in the morning at a better time.
- Hatch your Tama as soon as you wake up the morning of November 1.
- Hatch your Tama anytime November 1.
We will start a grouplog so everyone can share their celebration baby stories and discuss how they each grow up.
If you can get to a computer at midnight while you're hatching, it would be cool to write a post here, so that the moment of your hatch will be memorialized. Hatch posts will be popping up all day from around the world, so it'll be cool to watch and to read later!
