I should be writing yet another long, boring essay for my writing course, but I am yet again on TSS. I find myself constantly on here, checking for new posts, and even reading up on very old ones to see what I may have missed. Of course, this isn't always great for my schoolwork and other stuff...

My personal vote was towards "Every chance I can get! I'm hooked!" I'm always on here, and a lot of times I'm somewhat sad that there isn't a new post every second that I'm on here looking for one. But that could be a very good thing; I know I would never be able to get everything done that needs to be done if I was on here all the time, even though I wish I could be!

When I'm not posting a log here or replying to someone else's and I'm not home, I'm thinking about what I could post on my log, or any new topic I could possibly start to stir up some more conversations. At those times, I probably should be thinking about my schoolwork or the activity I should be focusing on. Is anyone else here as crazy as me  ? Please vote!

I know just how you feel! It's mostly the reason I'm always listed as online practically all day. That and my mom usually needs to use the comp so I have to switch accounts, but when not that, I hang here hoping for new posts.

Uh oh, my secret's out - now you'll all know how I managed to rack up so many posts and over fourteen days of online time here! Shocked

I think it's in all our natures as Tamagotchi lovers to want to check on things regularly to make sure it's happy and healthy. Wink

My TSS habits vary according to where I am. When I'm in my apartment, I check it first thing in the morning, and then I log in to the chatroom. Often people come in and say, "I just posted such-and-such!" and then I go catch up on all the new posts.

Whenever I get home from going out or whatever, checking TSS is also the first thing I do.

And whenever I complete a task of some kind, like finish washing dishes or something, checking TSS is my little break or reward. Smiley

When I'm at work, I check TSS way more often, because it can be very boring at work. Tongue I have a little routine that I follow: whenever the store is empty, I clean up any messes, restock anything that was sold, and then check TSS. Cheesy

Pretty much all the time, whenever my computer is on (which is pretty much always - I love having high-speed Internet), there is a tab on Firefox that is on TSS. I have usually a lot of open tabs at any given moment, like Facebook and browsing stuff and my RSS feeds, and every once in a while I just click on the TSS tab and hit "refresh". Grin

I actually have a bookmark in my bookmark bar that links directly to the "all unread topics" page.

So that's my TSS checking routine!

This is a GREAT poll topic, I can't wait to hear everyone else's responses!

I too am often around the site, it's the first thing I check in the morning and in between writing papers or researching. I'm very much a lurker on boards  .

I've been trying to cut down on my internet usage lately, for Uni's sake. I'm more out and about this year, but usually those lazy afternoons and all nighters are spent on here, TSS and other boards.

I check very frequently for new posts, out of habit and interest. Boards are nice, unlike chatrooms and internet messaging you can have time to think of what to say and find a ton of information and stories.

I always check out this board in the evening, and at some other time during the day.  The tamagotchi logs are always entertaining.  I wish I had more to post.

"Every chance I can get! I'm hooked!"
The first thing in the morning, well beside the brushing teeth and what not part, I check on TSS.
My lunch break = TTS.
Before I go to bed = TTS.
Anyother spare time = TTS.

It's pretty easy since I've access to the internet, literally, 24/7 on both my laptop and cellphone. Evil things. XD

Maybe I should take the site down for 8 hours of the work day so that acidiica can concentrate on better things  ::sees all the angery looks:: Just kiddin!

Totally funny thread Wink I chose 3-5, depends on the day entirely - it's sometimes more and sometimes less. I usually have a browser open, though sometimes I am not logged in if its on my other computer. I am competing with easherly for lurking status

*Gasp* You wouldn't! I think I'd go into withdrawal or something. I don't know if I could take that XD. That's like Elana wanting to boot me from the LiveChat so I could start my essay due the next day

I guess I'll have to tell the truth here. I chose every chance I can get. What can I say? I'm hooked! Cheesy Although I've not been posting as much as I normally would lately, it's only because school is so busy.

Hehe, Kat I don't know what I'd do if you took the site down. I agree with Acidiica in that I'd go into withdrawl. Shocked Haha I can picture Elana doing that, she's to funny!

Anyways, I am hooked. I love this site and TSS! Cheesy

I can probably say that I'm on this site more than anyone else here, because whenever I check the new posts I'm usually like the last one who made a post and whatnot, and I'm just sitting waiting for someone else to post.  But then again, that probably happens to all of you so I'm probably wrong. Tongue

Not surprisingly, I chose the addictive one.
