baa baa here and baa baa there...

Finally I had my camera with me when I was visiting my friend in the weekend. These are about 1/2 of his sheeps, which have been split in two flocks for the pasture season (summer and fall)

But what's that black cotton bush doing in the left?-)

I have no clue! I just didn't see any more legs, so I figured maybe it was an emu with its head on the ground XD. It made sense in my crazy head...

baa baa is here

You are right, Uolevi's butt looks quite emuish Cheesy

He is the ram of this half of the flock, and should be pure texel breed like the white ones (the one with panda pattern head is finnsheep) but as there is no black color in texel sheeps there has to be something...funny in his genepool. Propably his father was a finnsheep ram, thou his papers say that he's purebred texel LOL

We are awaiting interesting colored lambs in March from the combination black x grey (= the panda-head ewe). There might become practically ANY possible colored lambs (white, brown, grey, dark grey, dual colored) as the finnsheep ewe (again, the panda-head one) carries interesting pool of grey, white and black-n-white color combinations in her genes.

I try to get better pics of Uolevi the Black Sheep. His head looks funny. White stripe from the top of the head that wides to white nose, on a black background.

Haha, I thought it looked more like an emu or ostrich as well! They're adorable! I love sheep, they're SO cute.
