I finally have a bit of quiet time to myself ((hubby and company are still asleep ^.^)) to reply to this thread more personally.
I just wanted to thank you all who commented in this thread, it was really nice to come online that day and see all the nice comments and creative posts. Every post made me smile and Seraphim you crack me up

We are still having problems with finding a stable job/income situation so my man did not get me any Tamas - but it was at my request to help us conserve money. Since I would not let him buy me gifts he made me a homemade breakfast, took me out to dinner, and bought me chocolate - so he was sneaky and managed to spend money anyways
. We had friends over and played WoW. It was a relaxing day
. My grandparents also came to town and we had lunch, that was nice since it had been months since we last saw them. My hubby wanted to take me to a movie, but we didn't see anything interesting enough to go to, we ended up watching some rented movies. This all happened over the course of a few days, not all in the same day, so I had a bit of a birthday weekend.
I am happy to report that while I told everyone not to get me gifts, LeAnne still did (she never listens to me hehe). In fact she got me the Tamagotchi PC Pack, it is sitting next to me as she brought it just last night
I've been avoiding reading reviews, thinking I might get my hands on one for a while now, but it never showed up in our stores -- but she found one up where she lives.
LeAnne's birthday is on the 29th so she is back in town visiting this week. She's been practically living here this month because we were cleaning out my storage shed, and now of course celebrating each others birthdays.
To ILT specifically, Brendan has been busy with his own projects and hobbies so he hasn't had much time to visit here at all but he is doing well.
Anyways, sorry for the much longer post then I anticipated. I've just been lurking mostly because of RL things, but I wanted to make sure to get back to this thread to thank you all for the great birthday greetings - it really was nice to start the day with you kind folks messages
