Yeah it has to be a keitai then, no doubt about it. There were no other versions of the keitai released (like the akai), so it's definitely a keitai!   I hope you decided to buy it! That color is amazing.

Yes, sorry. When I read Keitai I immediately think of Akai's. XD

I might not know much about Japanese plus versions but aren't Keitai and Akai's the only one with V3 antennas? ;O

Good news! The seller mailed me back and told me that the menu when it starts up is in Japanese. Could it really be a Keitai?

With that shell design and normal screen it's either Keitai or Hong Kong V3 (or Chinese Keitai or whatever you call it) if it has asian style characters in menus instead of english.

Does the seller know difference between japanese and chinese?

I haven't got a clue if she does or doesn't know Japanese. But she should, shouldn't she? She's located in Tokyo, Japan after all.... hehehe.

Might be. In that case this "ocean soda pop" Tama is Keitai.

I've been looking through some trustable Tamagotchi sellers store(and spending money like crazy on 'em) which I came across this Tama-

Note the glass of water with a drowning note/tune(or whatever) on the top right corner of it. And the background. And that hang-tang thinge.
It's exactly like this "ocean soda pop" Keitai acidiica found, no?
The name of this Tamagotchi is: Tamagotchi Keitai Translucent Yellow.
Yup, I've contacted the seller, and she confirmed it's one. She still has the instructions, too. XD
