Thanks Fry. I just keep sensing this tension all around the thread.. page 2 in particular, and I don't like it. It really does make me upset.

I've been patiently awaiting the seller's response, however.

I'm sorry Anna, I didn't mean it to be rude..(That's why I said that in my question) But I asked you if you contacted the seller on page 1 and you didn't answer, so I just thought I'd ask it again.  I don't see why you would get upset about it because you know I'm not a mean person..But if it struck you as so, then I'm sorry.  Sometimes I frame my questions so that they sound like that, but I don't mean it like that. By the "I don't see why this is such a big deal" remark I just meant that it seems like a lot of work to find out what kind of tamagotchi it is, when you could just ask the seller. But I didn't realize you asked him.  Again, sorry.

It's the connextion version of it.

That's the one that has "Tamagotchi" printed on the top - it's not the same as the one she showed us. That's why we're so baffled.

Look, if you really want that design of Tamagotchi just type "Tamagotchi V3" on ebay and you'll find that Connexion design.
There's loads of 'em. I don't mean to be rude, it just sounds like it. Don't take it to heart. Please. ;P

If it's really so easy to find, could you please provide some links and examples? That would settle this once and for all.

Because I tried your advice and didn't find any examples of this particular shell colour. But then again, I use eBay Canada.

My dearest Elana. I did what you requested and provided you with a link, however. I failed to express myself clearly. What I meant was: type in "Tamagotchi ConneXion V3" and not "Tamagotchi V3". Since I use ebay.co.uk there's really no need for me to type in the connexion part.

That's actually just akais. We're looking to see if it's a Keitai, just a plain Keitai =p.

Good news! The seller mailed me back and told me that the menu when it starts up is in Japanese. Could it really be a Keitai?
