This morning when my alarm radio woke me up around 6:15 there came some kind of "Different kinds of pets there are" type radio interview with the interviewer lady asking questions from 7 or 8yo girl about her Tamagotchi  Grin

I was still half asleep when this interwiev started couple of minutes after the alarm radio had turn on, but the word "Tamagochee" (haha) waked my attention.

The girl sound like 1st or 2nd grader (7 or 8 years old) and the interviewer lady mentioned that her Tamagotchi is "cute pink" Grin (I assume it was 1st gen pink Connection)
I don't remember all of the interview anymore, it was about 5 mins long, but here are couple of lines I can bring up;

lady: "Is it more like playing or caring?"
girl: "Caring"

girl: "You can play with it, feed it meals and snacks and when it poops you need to go here this option to clean the poop away. Also if there comes a skull on the screen you need to go here (*shows the first-aid bag icon*) and the Tamagochee gets healthy again!"

lady: "You got this Tamagochee before you learnt to read. How did you learn to take care of it properly?"
girl: "I was bit worse in the beginning, and my dad had to read the instructions and tell me what to do. I didn't example know how to feed it but my dad show me how to do that."

lady: "Has there been conversation in school about not bringing Tamagochees there?"
girl: "Yes. Our teacher has said that we can't bring in any electronic games or toys"
lady: "What do you think, why this kind of statement was given?"
girl: "Cause everybody would play with them all the time and not to listen what teacher speaks"

lady: "What is the best part in caring of Tamagotchi?"
girl: "Maybe...playing games"

And the last question/answer was hilarous;

lady: "This Tamagochee looks pretty high-tech thing. What do you think, would I be able to learn to take care of it?"
girl: "*giggle* maybe not"

This is first time ever I've heard any kind of Tamagotchi related programs (excluding advertisements) in TV or radio in my country. There has never been even any kind of "Tamagotchis are bad for kids" opinions in any kind of TV show or radio cast.

That was nice awakement for me this morning Smiley

About half of the interview you could hear beep-beep-beep when the girl was changing between options and show the interviever lady what each option does. The microphone must have been close to the Tama.

The girl said that "maybe not" (with giggle) with childish cutish way which I couldn't translate very well in the text. She wasn't actually nosy at all.
