I've been sooooooooooo frustrated at everything lately.

I hate telephones. My sister always- and I mean ALWAYS- teases me about how I talk on the phone! Well I have troubles hearing what people on the other end are saying even on loudspeaker sometimes, and that really hinders me. What's more I'm always asked to pick up the stupid phone when it rings. Yeah right, like I'm the best one to pick it up. And I'm always the one to answer the door.

Sometimes I get thoughts that make me laugh or cry, and people ALWAYS ask me why I'm laughing/crying, and that really annoys me.

And on top of that, something that annoys me much more than anything else...

My Tamagotchi Connexion v4. (Yes, Kat, the beautiful blue one. Wanna come down to Australia to get some designs as nice as that and survive the sweltering 42 degrees Celcius (definitely over 90 degrees Farenheit, imagine that.))

The stupid games irritates me the most. I like my Tamagotchi to be at the base weight because I'm a perfectionist at times but now I don't care and my Tamagotchi weighs like 19g. SORRY, pounds. I live in Oz (Australia) and we use the metric system. Version 2 and over have Pounds instead of Grams. Version 3 introduced us to the month/day system. Which can get really confusing when my v1's day/month and my v4's month/day.

That might not sound too bad. But when your Tamagotchi gets a job and for some odd reason you want to play it (?!?!) you're most likely to get really frustrated. There's a lot of jobs I hate because the buttons don't respond or something of that nature.

And now whenever I get one of life's little (or big) problems, I blame it on my Tamagotchi.

"It's YOUR fault I have to do clarinet lessons!"
"It's YOUR fault that my laptop crashed two days ago! And I only had it for a week!" (Alright, my laptop is a hand-me-down from my sis and it's 5 years, 9 months and 2 days old)
"It's YOUR fault that I can't swallow food properly sometimes!"
"It's YOUR fault that I've beaten my head against the wall in my room!"
"It's YOUR fault that I'm scared of aeroplane safety precautions!" (No joke, I really am.)
"It's YOUR fault that I can't be bothered to answer your stupid mail for you! Go read it yourself! I didn't send you to school for nothing, right?"
"It's YOUR fault that I'm angry!"

What do you think I should do?!

I think you may be getting slightly overwhelmed with everything. The best thing that I could suggest for you is to find a day where you can just take the day and relax. Take a nap during the day, or just sit and play a video game (that isn't too exciting) and maybe pause most or all of your tamas. Just take the day and lay in bed relaxing, get a cup of water with ice, or just your favorite beverage (NO CAFFEINE). I always like my drinks with ice. Put it on the drawer next to your bed or somewhere where it at least won't spill and you have easy access to it. And just enjoy the day! Wake up late, lay in bed, listen to music, lock your door, and just take the day to yourself. Take a walk even if you want. I'm sure your tamas will understand if you need a day to yourself to take better care of them later Smiley

Just make sure you have all your homework done and nothing in your schedule for that day. I wouldn't recommend skipping anything, but you can possibly change your schedule around if need be?

I personally hate the game system on the new tamas as well, so mine stay at 99lbs all the time unless I'm trying to gain skill points, or at least most of the time...

I agree with your advice. I promised myself and my virtual pet crew if I am having a busy/bad/stressful day, I have them on pause so they don't get neglected and if I can I will take some to settle down and get stuff straightened out. Plus I have a system at work that I take only 4 pets maximum with me, to keep the stress levels down and worse case scenario they get paused too.

Anyway as for the games in all honesty, the games aren't that bad to me. It's practice and they keep me sharp. I will admit some games are harder to do with the sound off when I'm at work...and yes the v4.5's games are easier than the v4's...but I wouldn't say they frustrate me THAT much. I think its just how you practice and what helps you with the games.

All in all you definitely are a bit too stressed to be handling virtual pets at this time from what your post tells me. If the stress and frustrations continue to the point where you start taking aggressions out on people instead of a tama, I suggest you put them away as well as taking some rest until you feel better.

It's the holidays now so I don't have to rearrange my schedule Smiley

It's just the job/school games that annoys me. The only saving grace is that you don't have to play them.

I wish we had an ice dispenser like my friend. Once she just filled up her whole cup with ice and sat on the couch reading a book and eating the ice.

I can't handle a Pocket Neopet, just can't remember to care for it haha... My v1 doesn't annoy me, because it's easy to care for. Though today I was sorta slaving away building stuff out of lego so I kinda let its Happiness hearts drop down to 1 twice today.

Today my sister commented on how long it takes for me to say stuff and how emotionless I am on the phone. Grrr...

I don't get much homework, usually when I do it's not that hard.

Right now I'm playing a game of Monopoly with my Tamagotchi. I'm not actually playing, I'm just the banker. My v1, v4, stuffed dog, voice activated Neopet and four of my Pokemon McDonalds toys are playing... lol...
