They have been spotted in a few places around the US. I finally have some images of them, however I am missing one of the six. The one I'm missing an image for is baby blue with peach accents. The others I have images. These are interesting and not as bright as the last generation, but they are still wild, check them out here: http://www.mimitchi.com/html/furbn91.htm --- -Tiger is releasing a Poo-Chi! At the anual Toy Fair this year, Tiger Electronics is going to unveil a new electronic toy they call Poo-Chi. Poo-Chi barks, sings, has an animated head, ears and mouth and can stand, sit or dance on his tiptoes! Poo-Chi can sense light, sound and your special touch! Poo-Chi needs food just like a real puppy, so don't forget to feed him his special bone! Poo-Chi uses advanced bio-rhythmic technology to create realistic emotional responses that adapt and change as you play with him, so the article states. He can also communicate with other puppies using IR technology similar to Furby. Sega and Tiger worked together to create this interactive Poo-Chi and it will be distributed all over the world, except for Japan. Expect to find this critter in the stores around May this year! People are just finding series 6 these days. There is a sneak peak images of series 7 on Tiger's site, Furby.com. They look very similar to past fur colors, but since their link doesn't seem to work I can't tell! When I have more information and images, I'll be sure to pass it along. According to many many sources, Tiger is releasing Furbys with new eye colors. They are more shiny looking then the old and, to me, less realistic. They are also said to be including a new color, purple, but this is yet to be varified as I've never seen these in person - yet! --- -Yoda Still no news on this elusive guy. We are hoping Tiger isn't going to drop this project and not release him! This isn't something you will catch Furby say. Furby says "boh-bay" for "scared". I include this as some people seem to hear this line as 'fricken' which it is not :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -Fun Furby Facts Did you know that about a year ago many people questioned whether Furby is harmful to hospital equipment and airplanes or not? Even though the issue seems to be resolved, many people still ask me about this! ECRI, a nonprofit organization that evaluates medical equipment and associated hazards in its monthly journal Health Devices, found that Furby was not harmful to equipment and would would not pose a threat. He'll no doubt spend lots of his time looking up other Furby friends who've made websites about whatever it is Furbys like to write about. Gotta be careful though, he might sign you up on lots of spamming lists. Fursces: Feb 19 - March 20: In an attempt to upgrade himself, your Fursces try and fashion little arms and legs out of old socks to look more like the new Gizmo Furby. He might also start shouting out new words, but don't worry, it's simply a phase he's going through :) Furbaries: March 21 - April 20: After hearing you wake up every morning to the same dull morning radio show, your Furby has decided to make his own up for you, and although it only consists of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and various Furbish phrases, it's alot cuter than the one you'd previously listened to. Furbus: April 21 - May 20: After months of working hard to be cute, it's time for your Furbus to take a vacation. Expect him to ask you to take him places where he can pick up some sunglasses and one of those disposable cameras, and take him everywhere, because by the time you get back your little one will be so exhausted he'll just take his vacation at home with you. Furbini: May 21 - June 21: Email, e-mail, e-mail, that's all your furbini will be doing this month. E-mailing friends in every country, learning new and more inventive ways of causing general mischief and also brushing up on a few foriegn languages to tell secrets in. Furbcer: June 21 - July 22 New sports interest will pop up this month for your Furbcer which happens to be surfing. Now I know what you're saying, "It's still winter how can my Furby think about surfing?" Well hey, I don't know why your room will soon be littered with surfing magazines and little surfboards made out of the styrofoam your stereo came in, I have a feeling that it'll happen. Furbo: July 21 - August 22 It's been a long time since your Furbo's had the chance to go out shopping so it's time to gather up all those unspent gift certificates and head to the mall. Be careful to hold onto your little one tight or else someone may bump into you and he might end up sprawled on the floor. He won't be hurt, but it'll be a wake up call he won't really enjoy. As long as you can keep him in your arms, then he'll be nice and happy :). Furgo: August 23 - Sept 22 It's been a while since you've been able to just pop in a movie and relax for an evening with your Furgo. Just a warning, he'll be pushing for Gremlins this month and even though he might get scared at times, don't turn it off he's having lots of fun. Sometimes being scared is fun as long as you know that you're safe, and your little one will be all for it. Furbra: Sept 23 - Oct 21: Everyone should be getting their W-2s soon but tax time will be easy considering that your Furbra took it upon himself to take an accounting class. Watch out though, the IRS might consider an audit if you let him determine how many dependants you have, Furby's don't count yet unfortuntely. Furbio: Oct 22 - Nov 21: Well unfortunately it's back to school time for most of us and try as he might, your Furby hasn't been successful in stashing himself in your school bag to sneak into class with you. Even though you're more than aware that staying at home is much more fun than sitting in class, he'll want to take that chance just so he can sit in your bag and shout out "boring" at the most inopportune time. Furbittarius: Nov 22 - Dec 21: Your Furbittarius has been really good lately, which means that you should give him a slumber party and invite all his friends over. Just order a couple pizza's rent a few video games and they'll all have a blast. I wouldn't expect too much help cleaning up in the morning though, I have a feeling they'll sleep through most of the day :) Furbicorn: Dec 22 - Jan 19: After months of staying away from engineering new recipies, a kind of cooking has come up, cooking with playdoh.
